I LOVE the mill. But today’s service was TERRIBLE. The girl at the front desk was terrible to my friend that picked up our order. Why she was so unkind that she asked for WHAT was LITERALLY on the menu with our meals, I have no idea. But boo for today guys. Boo.

Went for brunch and was disappointed…. Way too heavy on the garlic …. Garlic in the sausage gravy and garlic butter on the toast and all I could taste on was the garlic on the potatoes….
Not everyone likes garlic especially on breakfast food

I was excited to try this place, having never been, but we were seated and waited over a half hour with zero service. Not even a drink order or acknowledgement. We watched one server serve a table without even a smile, looking incredibly bored with her job, and another server who served a table sat AFTER us. Got up and left, told the server we sat before the other table and had been waiting… to which she said “sorry” and laughed. Called the owner who was nice enough on the phone and apologized, but really did nothing to try to win a customer back who was looking forward to not only eating there, but supporting the bookstore as well.
Your waitstaff is the front line. If the service is terrible, people will not return no matter how good the food is. I understand finding good help is hard these days, but waitstaff should really be held accountable for how they treat customers as this is not a one-off complaint, judging from other reviews of this place.

First time trying the Cajun Burger. For anyone not sure if they should get it - go for it. It’s fire 🔥 Lainey is so sweet and hopefully you will get her as a server because she did a great job!
Wish I could give 6 stars out of 5. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Got “The Crew” with the truffle fries, excellent! For the table we got the chips and salsa which was fantastic. Chips looked and tasted homemade with their pineapple salsa. This is a must try when visiting Ashland!

Such a cute place “downtown” Ashland. Really good food. Lainey was our server and was the sweetest. Baked goods (cinnamon rolls) alone are worth the stop.
It’s kind of sad that I’m rating this place two stars because this was my favorite restaurant in town when I first moved here and has the potential to become the best restaurant in the Tristate but they have squandered it with their hit or miss food and their fast food level customer service.
I called this company to ask if they could make a cake for my wedding and they told me that they could absolutely do that for me and they wrote down my information. Never got a call back so my fiancé called and the person on the phone was so rude to her she said nevermind and we went to Tipton’s instead. I highly recommend Tipton’s for your bakery needs. Don’t go here!!!
Then as if that wasn’t enough I decided to give them another chance because I’m a very forgiving person and I do see the potential that they have to be a great restaurant. I came in during their Italian week and ordered two pasta dishes with chicken and shrimp and two desserts which I paid $80 for. Got home to realize I never got my dessert I paid for and I never got any shrimp on the pasta just chicken. I called and told them and asked if I could get a refund she said yes and hung up. Never got a refund so I called and asked if I could speak to a manager and they hung up on me. Still never got a refund and I couldn’t got better pasta from fazolis.
I will probably never be back again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Got the fried chicken salad with honey mustard and it was AMAZING! Really filling for the money. Quality food made to perfection... just takes a long time to get to the table for the lunch hour crowd. If you want to be on time at work, call it in and take out. Great atmosphere for business lunches or if you are in no hurry. Baked goods are amazing as well. Highly recommend the food and the experience if you're in the area visiting!
