Excellent food !! Great variety of craft beers.

idk idk

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Tomcat Bourbon, and it's safe to say that it left a lot to be desired. From the moment I walked in, I couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment that lingered throughout the entire evening. First and foremost, the atmosphere was far from inviting. The dim lighting, worn-out furniture, and lackluster decor gave the place a gloomy and outdated vibe. It felt like stepping into a time warp where the bar had been frozen in the '80s – and not in a charming or nostalgic way. The service was equally underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked any enthusiasm. It took an eternity to get the attention of a bartender, and when I finally did, their lack of knowledge about the drink menu was astonishing. It's one thing for a bar not to have an extensive selection, but it's another when the staff can't even recommend a decent cocktail. Speaking of drinks, the prices were exorbitant given the quality. I ordered a supposedly "signature" cocktail, and it tasted like a watered-down version of something I could make at home. The lack of creativity in the drink menu reflected the overall lack of effort put into providing a unique and enjoyable experience for patrons. The live music promised on their website turned out to be a low-energy performance that seemed like an afterthought. The acoustics were terrible, and it was nearly impossible to carry on a conversation without shouting over the mediocre tunes. If a bar advertises live entertainment, it should at least deliver an experience worth staying for. To make matters worse, the restroom facilities were in dire need of attention. Unpleasant odors and a lack of cleanliness left a lasting negative impression, making a visit to the restroom an experience to avoid at all costs. In conclusion, Tomcat bourbon left me with an overall sense of regret for choosing it as a destination for a night out. From the lackluster ambiance and subpar service to overpriced drinks and forgettable entertainment, this bar falls far short of the standard one would expect. Save your time and money, and opt for a more vibrant and customer-oriented establishment elsewhere.

Food was disappointing. Fast food would probably be better. Our server was good. The country music was there if that's what you're into. They should probably shutdown the kitchen and just be a country bar.

Good people, doing good things for South Ashland.

The bar would be better if it were n a different location. When you have high school memorabilia all over the place that doesnt attract anything but kids to the establishment. I get the pride n all but HIGH SCHOOL?? CMON

They were out of the majority of items on the menu including drinks. Their bacon appetizer was cold and there was bacon grease congealed on it. It had a really funky flavor. There were also a ton of flies that kept landing on our food. The whole experience was awful and no one checked on us or felt compelled to understand why we didn't eat the majority of the food on the table. One of my worst restaurant experiences ever!

Really loved this place! Great burgers, really friendly and helpful staff at all levels, and overall a really great looking place even. If you go make sure to check out both sides. They actually have separate entrances on the street but they both open into the stage and live music area out back which is really nice!Kid-friendliness: Went there a few times now with my youngest daughter who loves to play pool. Always a fun time. Obviously people are drinking and there is a curse word here and there if that bothers ya but very friendly and easy going vibe overall.

Server was new and I felt like they left him alone too much. He tried but had to run back and forth to get answers when having a trainer WITH him would have been easier for him.
