Berkshire has a very nice ambience, but the attentiveness of the wait staff was lacking - the bartender seemed much more transactional than hospitable. The cocktails felt lacking as well. I did dealer's choice. I wanted cognac smoky. It was much more bitter than smoky. I don't think I'll be back. I think there are other lounges that would provide a better overall experience.
The drinks were great quality and made with care. The prices are a bit steep. One round with tip came to over $50. But otherwise this place is nice and the bartenders are knowledgable.
My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at The Berkshire Room, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Cocktails were good, and they offer unique options like the Dealer's Choice and Vesper. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Be aware that seating by the bar can provide better service and entertainment. However, be aware that service can be slower when they are busy, and reservations are recommended. The host might not be welcoming, and if you order the “dealers choice,” don't expect the staff to tell you anything about the cocktail.
