Half the beers wouldn't pour right.. bartender inexperienced or untrained..beer was flat, warm, and taste like dishwater and chapstick..horrible.. didn't eat any food but the employees were eating papa john's at the counter, which doesn't look good or inspire any confidence in the quality of food offered..menu was also very slim and lacking for a BBQ place
I i’ve had a couple of disappointing experiences at this restaurant. Initially, when visiting there with family members, my experience had been pleasant. I think the corn muffins are out of this world delicious and accompanied by white bean chicken chili, which is my mother’ favorite, it’s a meal worthy of a five star rating. In my opinion. Knowing this, I brought a larger family group to this restaurant one day, only to have everyone’s meal be a disappointment. This was mainly due to a grill that had fallen over. Food was late and was not heated properly and they were out of the chili. Even so, knowing how much my mother loved the chicken chili and corn muffin meal, I communicated via chat with the owner of the restaurant. He assured me that the white bean chicken chili would be available on a certain date in October. My mother is 88 years old and has a hard time getting around. Based upon the owner’s promise to me, my sister and I assisted my mother into the restaurant on that date. We were informed by several waitresses that not only was there no white bean chicken chili to be had, but also that the owner does not know how to handle social media and is unaware of what’s on the menu. Very sad. I am only writing this review after giving the owner several weeks to respond to this issue. Though he enthusiastically let me know when my mother’s favorite chili would be available, he has refused to acknowledge my disappointment. Had he gotten in touch with me, I would not be writing this review.
Went for my first time today. the food was so good. Especially the corn bread muffins. our server Angel was amazing!!!! She was very attentive and friendly!
Had the corn muffins (highly recommend), crispy chicken salad (good), and bourbon burger (highly recommend). Service was friendly. Whiskey prices a bit high, decent selection. Would eat there again.
One of the best places that we have stopped. The pulled pork tacos were outstanding.Had a side of green beans with bacon, don't know if I'll ever eat regular green beans again.Wife had tug he wings which were very good.Service was fast and friendly, even with the place being packed.
Awesome food and great service and the beer was outstanding!
Best burger in town!! Delicious and friendly staff
The food was okay. We both had burgers which were fine but not memorable. Service was okay but I think they could have used another person. The beer was horrible for a brewery. They had 3 home brews and were out of two others. We travel and stop in to sample brews everywhere we go. The beer here is some of the worst I have tasted in a long time. Nice little town but I guess I shouldn't have gone to a brewery in a bourbon town.
Made reservations for 6:30. Arrived at 6:25. They didn’t know about our reservation. We found an open table and after waiting 15-20 minutes finally we’re able to place our order. It was nearly 7:30 and still have not received our drinks. HORRIBLE experience. The food was awesome! I only wish the service was the same.
I feel like 4.1 stars is kinda low for how good this place is. It deserves at least 4.5 or more. Their food is amazing and their craft beer is like no other. If they change their growler refill prices back to $10 instead of $20 then they'd be a perfect 5 star restaurant.

They had great service, really nice location, the food was quick to come out and it was delicious. The coleslaw was amazing and the beer (I had the lager) was good too. Honestly this is a great place to hop into if you just want to step out of the street and enjoy a cold one or have a burger. We went after a long hike and this was just what we needed.
They don't require their servers to wear masks while serving food. When questioned the server said "the owner is real cool about it". when I asked the manager they said "The servers don't want to wear them". Gross
Food was good, staff had no mask and did not sit people to proper spacing. Luckily I do not over worry about that.
Our waitress (Ashley & Brooke) was adorable, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu! I had The barbecue pulled pork tacos and upon her recommendation the green beans. Both were excellent! I had a bourbon glaze seared pork loin and it was done to perfection. The corn muffins are great and we WILL BE BACK!Stop here - you won't regret it!
Good food terrible service, waited about 20 minutes to order food as the waiters all talked and laughed at the bar. Then when we ordered it took about another 5 minutes to get our drinks because the waiter LEFT THEM AT THE FRONT DESK THEN BROUGHT THEM TO US. When they finally brought us our drinks the waiter left and we had to wait another 10 minutes to order. Food came in about 10 minutes it was really good and hot but we didn’t get any silverware or napkins. When we finished we stacked up our baskets and pushed them to the edge of the table sat there for about 15-20 minutes waiting for a bill as the waiters all talked behind the bar when one came back to the room we were in she started cleaning tables and looked at us and asked “oh did you guys want your bill” she left with our cards and brought us the bill in about 5 minutes. I don’t recommend this restaurant unless you don’t mind waiting an hour or more. Edit: thank you for the quick response.
