Always a Go to spot, Recently most new places In bardstown are always ran off. Ever since Wally’s opened I have been trying to go for ice cream. Always a wide array of flavors, especially compared to the competitor down the road. Great atmosphere. Although they had bad staff issues for a bit. The initial staff And the current staff are always good. Only thing I wish was there was the ornate shakes you guys used to do when you first opened!!! But always good to support local business. Oh and Hotdog/Slawdog was pretty good, but as of recent they’ve become more plain. Try new things and add an Actual kitchen! You’d definitely hit more people if it had the diner portion of the look too!!!!

Ice cream was good according to my wife. Nachos were terrible as well as the chili cheese dog. Chicken salad slider was blah as well.

I had zero sugar strawberry swirl 🍓 ice cream and it was delicious!! I do not like strawberry ice-cream at all. But, I chose to try something new and I'm so glad I did. You must visit this location. Everybody working that day, was polite and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stop in💯🤗😘

What a charming cafe with great employees. I am g.f. and found all the ice cream flavors labeled for ease of selection. Young adult staff was not only helpful but also conversational making for a great visit. When we're back in town, we will be sure to visit Wally's.

Ice cream good but the guy at the register tonight needa to learn some customer service. We were 2nd in line but he decided to take a friend's order in front of us. Then he looks at us, never says a word, and I ask are you ready for my order? He says yes. I said oh, you never asked and you took her order before mine. He proceeds to ask me if this is my 1st time here. It doesn't matter dude, learn customer service! Guy with Dark wavy hair and glasses .

First time visit last weekend. Cute quaint& cozy. A few small bistro style tables for guests. Pretty extensive ice cream list and unusual ways you can heap on the extras. They have a modest hot dog menu as well. Located on the main drag about four to five storefronts from the historic courthouse downtown. I would expect the wait time to be longer during prime tourist season.
Quaint & quirky Hot Dog & Ice Cream Shop on the Main Street in downtown historic Bardstown KY. Decor & furnishings are vintage inspired. Housed in an older brick building facing the main thoroughfare. Seating inside is available but limited. Most transactions appear to be to-go orders. We offered a hot fudge sundae & a single dip cone. Staff were pleasant but not overly enthusiastic (could have been a long busy day!)

While exploring the town and soaking in some local history, the heat caught up with us—so we went in search of a local ice cream spot to cool down. We clearly weren’t the only ones with that idea! This cute little shop is in a perfect location and had a great variety of ice cream flavors, plus some extra snack options too. The only downside? It could definitely use a bit more space. More seating and a larger area to order would make the experience even better. Still, a sweet stop on a hot day! 🍦

When ice cream establishments carry three flavors of vegan ice cream, I give them a five star review. The vegan options were good ones, too: vanilla, cookie butter (like Biscoff cookies), and raspberry sorbet. The staff was friendly, the other patrons were joyful--I guess it's easy to be friendly and joyful at an ice cream place. I'd definitely go back.

After seeing a brief glimpse of Big Wally’s while previewing Bardstown on YouTube, we knew we could get a good Malt there. Vanilla malt with almond milk!! I highly recommend it! We were NOT disappointed!!! We were fortunate enough to be there when it was fairly quiet and got to talk to the owner for a bit. So nice a friendly. Thank you!!
