They were very short staffed but sat people at all of the tables anyway. If staff is short, I get it, but express that to patrons as opposed to seating everyone at every table possible with not enough staff to serve them. After an hour we started commiserating with other tables. The table behind me didn’t have food after 2 hours. We were all sharing stories because of how long it had been. After an hour I asked the server about the food, she responded with “We only have two cooks. If you can’t wait, don’t go to a restaurant!” Then she slammed my water glass she was filling back on the table and walked away. This was a horrible experience. I literally walked out after the server slammed down my water. Had another server arguing with me as to how busy they were the whole time I walked away.

Ate the pasta Romano last night, was very tasty and enough for 2 meals. The servers were great, and every table was full on a Monday night. Highly recommend

I’d only come here for the Margarita pizza. Yes, we dined here when it was the fall festival, but it wasn’t busy when we arrived. We were seated “outside“. We were mostly entertained by the bathrooms having major issues rather than the service and the food. The menu states an appetizer of breadsticks with marinara. We received tasteless sliced of bread. When I asked the server about this multiple times, she repeated that this was in fact what we were getting. Misrepresentation?? Bread slices is NOT bread sticks. The marinara was served cold. Not sure if this if this if usual here but not accustomed to it at any other establishment. The pizza was fine. Eating “outside“ provided us the opportunity to share our meal with several black flies wanting to share our meal with us. So, if you, gentle reader, have the choice to dine here, I would recommend eating inside. All in all, we won’t be coming back. At least we tried this place and now we know we won’t be coming back, sadly.

Absolutely the worst service! We were ignored at the door. When we were finally seated we had to flag down a server after sitting there for 15 minutes. We were finally given our drinks but our food was never submitted to the kitchen and we never saw our server again. When we did see her she was busy eating with another table. We left and won't be back on the weekends. Looks like management needs to figure out how to train their staff better.

My husband and I walked into Cafe Primo with no expectations and came out talking about making a ton of to-go orders when we head back to Birmingham. We assumed it’s just your standard pasta/pizza place and left feeling like we had some of the best pasta we’ve ever had. The pasta Romano is Devine and this place should have better ratings for the price and food quality. I would add: we stumble into a fair number of Italian places in our travels, so we don’t take these proclamations lightly!

Amazing food! Fresh and authentic Italian cuisine, the bread and Mediterranean Pasta was incredible. The server did give my friend diet coke instead of normal coke on accident, but all and all I had a great experience.

Cold food, cooks seemed very disinterested in there job and could only cook 1 thong at a time. Will never go back. Glad we only ordered sandwiches and did spend more on entrees. This restaurant is at Amerstar Casino in KC

Super simple and cozy pizza joint. They have other things other than pizza but we just got the pizza and caprese salad which were both awesome! They have a great wine list as well. Great Lil stop in Bardstown. You won't be disappointed!
