I’d only come here for the Margarita pizza. Yes, we dined here when it was the fall festival, but it wasn’t busy when we arrived. We were seated “outside“. We were mostly entertained by the bathrooms having major issues rather than the service and the food. The menu states an appetizer of breadsticks with marinara. We received tasteless sliced of bread. When I asked the server about this multiple times, she repeated that this was in fact what we were getting. Misrepresentation??...
My husband and I walked into Cafe Primo with no expectations and came out talking about making a ton of to-go orders when we head back to Birmingham. We assumed it’s just your standard pasta/pizza place and left feeling like we had some of the best pasta we’ve ever had. The pasta Romano is Devine and this place should have better ratings for the price and food quality. I would add: we stumble into a fair number of Italian places in our travels, so we don’t take these proclamations...
Amazing food! Fresh and authentic Italian cuisine, the bread and Mediterranean Pasta was incredible. The server did give my friend diet coke instead of normal coke on accident, but all and all I had a great experience.
