A restaurant where you can feel the atmosphere of a western movie. The free peanuts and bread are also delicious. The food is reasonably priced and it's my favorite restaurant in Bardstown.
Gnats were constantly annoying us the entire time. We both ordered steak, i got the T-bone steak and you could tell it was frozen and thrown on the grill. By the bone was raw and the outside was well done, I ordered medium rare. The rib-eye was the same way. The appetizers were the only thing we enjoyed. Even the drinks were made weak, especially for a place in "the bourbon capital". Wont be back.

We were seated quickly and our waitress’s name was Elaine. We ordered fried green beans a with spicy ranch dressing/ranch dressing for our appetizer. It was delicious and worth trying for an appetizer. Next was our side salad with Thousand Island dressing. It was fresh and crisp. The croutons were a bit hard but otherwise very good. For main course, I had the Blackened Salmon with a baked potato, butter and sour cream. The salmon was properly cooked and not overly seasoned. The potato was done and hot all the way through. Over all, the experience was good and our waitress was very attentive. I would most definitely recommend Colton’s Steak House & Grill. Side note…the facility appeared to be clean inside and out. Just need to repair the broken pole for US flag that could have fallen during the recent storm and high winds.

The steak was cooked perfectly, however, it was a little bland. Asking for the bold, Southwest seasonings, called their del Rio ribeye, I would have expected it to be a little more flavorful. After adding salt and some of their seasoning salt that they had on the table, it was absolutely wonderful.
The green beans were canned and I guess there's nothing else to say about that.
The steamed veggies were cooked correctly, although the two small carrots that they gave me were dry and old. The veggies were also bland. There is no butter on them so I asked for butter. Once I got butter and salt and pepper on it they were good.
The staff was extremely friendly, the prices were average and we got there 35 minutes before it closed and they were very happy to have us. So overall I rated a five-star but I would give the food a four star.

Food was absolutely terrible ? had to have my wife steak remade 3 times once for being burnt instead of medium rare and twice for being almost raw. My chicken was tough to the point it was almost unbeatable . The only thing that was good was the salad. We will never visit again . Completely unacceptable food. The restaurants woman's room my wife said was extremely dirty looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The waitress was very nice and didn't complain about having to fix anything. She apologized many many times and did awesome job trying to get the kitchen to fix their issues.

My night was ruined. The take-out looked delicious but my food had blonde long hair on it. So I wasted my money. I went to bed angry and hungry.

Maybe it's better at other times but it wasn't impressive. It was barely passable. I either had steak or a shoe.

Food , service and hospitality was excellent! You can tell the manager Ben cares about his employees and customers!
Wheelchair accessibility: I will rate the wheelchair ramp a 100 out of 10. It is perfect ! No broken concrete or humps to get over ! I would suggest all owners and restaurants especially the Mexican restaurant across from you look at yours and then go back and fix their ramps! Thank you Ben for caring about all your customers.

Me and my boyfriend went for our 3 year anniversary last night to eat because we wanted to stay local and normally Colton’s is wonderful well our service was absolutely great! But our food on the other hand horrible my chicken came out pink they remade my food and I took my sandwich to go and I went to eat it again later and it was even more pink this time!! My boyfriend got Alfredo and it had chicken in it too both of us were sick to our stomach after we left and the night off we will no longer be going back to Colton’s due to the food being horrible!!
