Amazing small town barbecue. Had the pulled chicken sandwich and it was nicely sauced. Didn't make a huge mess but just the right amount to make the flavor pop. Green beans made in the good southern way along with the Mac and cheese. Highly recommend their desserts as they are homemade in the restaurant.

We have lived here for 10 years and just now discovered Down Home. It's nothing fancy, but it is down home cooking, and the food is great! We have really enjoyed the ribs the most so far. Service is always super friendly too!

We went off the beaten path and almost missed this little place. Doesn't look like much but the ribs were fall off the bone and the corn cakes had great flavor..no ambiance but good food!

Best BBQ I have ever had, tender meat, great sauce and carrot cake. Try the baked beans and Mac and cheese sides. Met grandpa who get up at 5 am to start smoking ribs and his grand daughter

Amazing fall off the bone BBQ!! Amzing choices and homemade side that are mouth watering! The cakes are so fresh baked and moist. Oh did I mention the homemade fried corn bread!!! Fabulously delish
