I can't say enough good things about the outstanding service we had for our large, late arriving party. No only were orders all correct, the food was exceptional and we all enjoyed our experience. Staff is attentive, portions are large, prices are good and we will definitely be back!

I've had two meals here and don't care to go back. The atmosphere is full of cheerful color with the sports bar feel: big screens in all directions. Tortillas have added flavor if browned over a fire and theirs aren't. The rice and beans were bland: I tasted them as sides off my son's plate. There was White Rice in my Burrito instead of Spanish Rice. The Burrito was okay, covered with a thin white cheese sauce. Tortilla Chips were good but we mixed the hot and mild sauces together for a better flavor. Two items I wanted to order off the menu were not available at 3:30pm in the afternoon. I asked for lemon with my water and didn't get that either. I love Fried Ice Cream but I didn't care for theirs. My kids took me one time for Lunch and Dinner another time during a visit. They said they frequent this place because they have "the best" Hot Wings! Ironically the restaurant that boasts hot wings is next door.

Still my go to Mexican restaurant in Bardstown. Try the tomatillo sauce with your carnitas.?Staff is wonderful. Even when in need of more help, it does not take away from service or food quality. They work extremely hard.Parking: Large lot. Plenty of space even when crowded.

I always enjoy El Jimador's food. They give you your money's worth and it's delicious. I had their Carne Asada, they bring a whole steak so you can distribute it evenly with your sides or eat it however you want. The Texas Burrito is a large burrito with sweet BBQ and tender shredded pork.
