There aren't a lot of options around Bardstown for a good cup of coffee. We just wanted something to get our morning started. This place seemed like the perfect answer right on the main strip. The place looks fantastic, and the coffee was great. So, why three stars? I would ask that too. While the coffee was great, it's not anything that you couldn't get at Starbucks. They aren't turning the Java world on its ear here. The worst part was the service. When we arrived the place was almost empty. The few customers that were there seemed to have seated themselves as far from the counter as possible. When we placed our orders, I think I figured out why. The baristas actually seemed annoyed that we were there. Cold, short, and just short of being rude. I worked with the pubic for over a decade, so I try to be as polite as possible to anyone working behind a counter or at a register. We placed our orders making sure to say please and thank you, didn't have any long or special requests, and our money spends as well as anyone else's. Maybe pretend that you're not angry people showed up for coffee in the morning? Cute shop, good coffee, but I think that I'd rather spend my money on the swill that McDonald's brews.

they frequently don't abide by posted hours. this is one of the worst things you can do to your customer base, especially when your hours are already so limited.

It's a cute little shop, very clean and quiet. The staff were all very sweet and helpful! I tried one of their Holiday drinks, and it's one of the best coffees I've had in a long time! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Since I was stopping in for a gift card I figured I'd order lunch and try the place out.Hands down the best roasted red pepper soup I've ever had! I also got the sandwich of the day, which was a roast beef wrap. It paired perfectly with the soup. Even came with a little side of macaroni salad that would put grandma's to shame. It was all absolutely delicious! The atmosphere of the place was inviting and warm. I wish I had time to sip a coffee. I will definitely be back for some!

My frappe was all foam with no real taste to it. Definitely no coffee taste.

They do, in fact, serve coffee, pastries, and more. And it's all really good.

Quaint little coffee shop! Enjoyed stopping in here while visiting and shopping in Bardstown. Service was good, prices were reasonable and lots of options for coffee. The cinnamon roll is delicious! Also, their seasonal drinks were great. Loved the caramel apple latte! This is a great place for coffee and pastries when in the area.

Move over Starbucks! Quaint cafe with fresh foods and drinks. Conveniently located on the square next to shops.

Nice place!! But.. the espresso is a 0/10. Horrible. It tasted like drip coffee with absolutely no crema. Super acidic and very thin. I don’t mean to sound harsh, but they need to work on dialing in their grind and timing (and consider using beans intended for espresso). Maybe mine was a fluke.. but they have way too nice of an espresso machine to be pulling nasty shots. To be fair, the place has a very nice environment. The staff are friendly, and the regular coffee is pretty good.I would definitely come back, I just wouldn’t order the espresso.

It was the worst coffee we had on our trip! I asked what the coffee of the day was, and I was told it was a medium roast and was told afterward that it was a dark roast! The coffee was bitter and old!

Service was great, not only were they super helpful with food & beverages they also helped me find places to go and do during my downtime. Food - I had a chicken salad (can't remember the exact name) it was really good my only grievance was that they only had one dressed which was homemade ranch. Which isn't the end of the world it just doesn't pair well with fruit in my opinion. Also purchased two of the "Triple Chocolate Threat" cookies. Would consider moving to Bardstown for those cookies specifically. Life changing. Drinks -Unsweet tea, as expected enjoyable. Raspberry drink - SUPER sweet. I ended up drinking half of my tea and then mixing the both which also ended up being very good. Loved the ambiance, I enjoyed some people watching out the front window while I ate and read my book. I would be here at least 3x a week if I lived in the area. Would sell my soul for the cookie recipe if that's an option
