When in Bardstown, this is a "must stop" place! We got the schnitzel and goulash and they were as authentic as you can get. We got a Manhattan and old fashioned and they were spot on. The ambience is so cozy and just takes you back to a simpler time. Not to mention the staff were amazing. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy some real home cooking.

The food was fantastic. Worth paying for. Love that it’s they kind of food you can’t find everywhere. We wanted to eat somewhere unique during our trip to Bardstown and this was a great choice. Friendly staff, upscale atmosphere (which we didn’t realize would be the vibe, and they didn’t mind our street clothes), and delicious food. We had the Wiener schnitzel, chicken cordon bleu, and Kreso chicken. We cleaned our plates! Every bite was fantastic!

The people were friendly, the place was very clean, and the food was fantastic! The Portion size was huge. I ordered Jaeger Schnitzel and my wife ordered Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Will definitely eat here again when in Bardstown.
Everything was exceptionally delicious...appetizers, entre, and deserts!!! If you haven't eaten at Kreso's then you are missing a fantastic dining experience!
