Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Each and every time I order from Lee’s in Bardstown, there is an issue. Either I don’t receive what I ordered, the food is awful, or the service is absolutely terrible. Each time I tell myself that they don’t deserve my business, but I try to give them another chance because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Each time I am reminded of why I originally told myself I wouldn’t order from there. I do not recommend Bardstown Lee’s to anyone.

Chicken box was worst I have ever seen ! Wing had no meat at all and leg was really small ! The white meat was not a breast and not much meat !

Everyone is always nice. Service is pretty quick. Love the spicey chicken.

We get the best chicken in the world so delicious and the coleslaw is sweet as candy mashed potatoes and gravy mouth watering buttery biscuits ? ice cold soft drinks I'm in fried chicken heaven here.

The chicken was burned and dry in the Hodgenville one.. BARDSTOWN KY IS RHE BEST!!!

Best fried chicken we’ve had for our first time in KY.
Location is good. It’s in a shopping enter that’s easy to get to.
Inside the restaurant, it’s a bit cramped where you have to order. That section had the drink fountain, condiments table, trash bins, and entrance to the restroom. It was really crowded.
Staff were very nice.
Menu was good. I loved that they actually had liver and gizzards as a combo meal. I love that!! I ordered that and it was so delicious. My husband ordered the number 1 and it was super moist. The breading could’ve been a bit better but the chicken was fried to perfection. Sides were absolutely delicious. Recommend the green beans. Biscuits are delicious as well. Sweet tea was also refreshing. No complaints on the recipe for sure. Awesome recipe!!
Service was on point.
Prices are great.
Table seating was adequate. They had more drive through than dine in so we had a good option as to where to sit.
Cleanliness definitely could’ve used a lot of love in the dining area.
Overall it’s a great place to find southern fried chicken for our first experience.

45 minutes till close,we order ,they wait till we get to window and you have nothing we ordered and young kid ,stated I didn't know ,how do you not know what ya have ,no communication obviously, but my point is .you should have all and enough food till closing time ,then clean, etc,then go home. not tell customers you are out .just because you don't wanna cook anymore ,it's lazy ,

We’ve been coming to Lees forever.. it’s good but not what it used to be. No such thing as fresh livers any more.

We will always love Lee’s but the place should shut down for a couple months for a remodel and deep cleaning.

Every single item tasted like KFC recipes except slightly worse. Chicken livers were hard and cold even though I requested fresh. Go anywhere else.

the food was good, but the lady at the drive-thru was kinda rude and the service was extremely slow
