We stopped here for breakfast. The portions were large, service was excellent and the food was good. Very casual, welcoming atmosphere. The decor is very rustic, family friendly feel to the place. The prices were reasonable. The gift shop was so so.

Mammy’s Kitchen and Bar is hands down the best breakfast we’ve had in the area. It was so good that we went back again the very next morning—something we rarely do on trips! Let me start with their Bloody Mary… absolutely AMAZING. Truly one of the best I’ve ever had. Between our two visits, we tried the Hangover Skillet, Biscuits & Gravy, the giant Cinnamon Roll, and the Fried Chicken Benedict—every single dish was delicious. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The atmosphere has a warm Southern charm, and the servers were friendly and welcoming both times we visited. If you’re anywhere near the area, don’t miss this place. It’s easily a must-stop breakfast spot!

Pleasant visit. Pickles were cold so we said something to our sweet server and she took them off the bill for us. Chicken fried chicken and mac and cheese were awesome. Would go back.

The food is ok. Cornbread is great. But when the owner comes to your table and tells you a mistake was made at the gift shop and you were undercharged for jelly and she would not have you pay for it. Great , I appreciate that. Fortunately, that’s not who I am and I take 2 jars back to the giftshop. I felt bad for the girl that completed my order. An honest mistake. I get to my car and look at the bottom of my jar. 8.99 is the price on my jar of jelly. Technically I was overcharged!!! I would only recommend the chili, cornbread and the meatloaf! Servers are great. I will never return.

We had a narrow window for lunch but service was excellent and food arrived in timely manor. Chicken and waffles were very good. Pimento cheese was outstanding that came with FGT appetizer. The Kentucky BLT was fantastic. We all wish we had gotten this!

The hotbrown was unbelivably delicious. The wait staff was great ... fun! The wait to eat was lengthy but I get why as the food was wonderful!

We have been to Mammy several times and usually enjoy it however our last time eating there I was unimpressed by the food, and wait. We went on a Saturday around noon for lunch and expected a wait. Circled the parking lot 4 times before getting a spot. Upon arrival the hostess and staff seemed overwhelmed and a bit undertrained. We waited 45 minutes for a booth for four people which was longer than the original quoted time. I get it, they were busy it happens. I looked around and there seemed to be a lot of people sitting and not much food coming out. Our server was fantastic! I ordered the pork chops, mac & cheese, green beans and a house salad. For $8.99 for a house salad I expect a lot more than what I got, a very small bowl. I feel like the quality of the food house went down hill in the last few years. Maybe it was an off day for them, I’m willing to give them another chance but step it up and consider lowering your price on a salad or giving a larger portion for $8.99.

My friends and I came here for lunch after the heaven hill distillery tour. It was a recommendation from an employee there and I must say it was a great one. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Each of them were delicious. The chicken was fried and seasoned very well and went extremely well with the conrbread pancake. The mashed potatoes and gravy were real good and the mac and cheese was good. The only thing about the mac and cheese is that the noodles were bland. I really like that the menu was on a newspaper. You dont see that everyday. My friend ordered the bourbon grilled chicken and he seemed to really enjoy it. My other friends got burgers and they enjoyed that as well. A few of the guys got the bourbon bloody mary... sad to say it was not a hit. No one liked it. It was quickly replaced with old fashions and I had the Kentucky bourbon barrel stout. I liked it.

The food here is definitely worth stopping in for. It will definitely hit the southern food spot if you are looking for one. Our hostess was very nice as well.

I would give a 2.5 if it was an option. The atmosphere was good. We sat in the bar area because the restaurant was full. The music wasn’t too loud to have a conversation and the sound was off on the TVs, so that was nice. The issue was our waitress who was more interested in tips from the bar than people at her tables. When our food arrived, an hour after we sat down, it was cold. Actually, all of our plates were cold but I refuse to wait that long for a cold meal that should be hot. I had my reuben sent back and it was for sure just microwaved. The food was mid, definitely not the hype we expected. Very disappointing.

Went to the bar while we waited for our table, bar staff were to busy doing shots to take care of customers. After ignoring us for 15 minutes. Did not provide the drinks ordered. Just sad.

Stopped here in Bardstown KY for dinner after a day of visiting unique shops and wineries. The meal was delicious and filling. Crazy but I really enjoyed their sweet corn bread. Would come back again ,when we return to explore some of the old Kentucky historical areas! Thank you for your service Adam. You were great!

Charming old Bardstown restaurant/sports bar. Service was outstanding. Thanks Abbie. A little dissapointed they don't serve breakfast all day. Husband had the bourbon BBQ burger and fries. Great portion and tasty. I chose the spinach salad wirh celery seed vinaigrette and grilled chicken. Biggest dissapointment was the tater tots with bacon and cheese. The tots were good. However, the cheese was just canned cheese sauce and barely any bacon. The costnwas $16.99 for this appetizer. Totally not worth it. Food was good overall.
