Bardstown is home to a true hidden gem—Marcellas! We discovered this delightful spot through a friend's recommendation, and we couldn't be happier that we did. With its homemade dishes and welcoming staff, Marcellas offers an unforgettable dining experience. Plus, the bourbon menu is a must-explore! We enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next night. Don’t even think about leaving without indulging in a slice of their incredible Lemon Marcipone cake; it will leave you yearning for more even at 2am. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic from start to end. Went here as many things around were busy and or closed and were happy we did. I had the burger with bacon and pulled pork on it, and it was flavourful as can be... Wife had a sandwich that she enjoyed as well.

One of the best meals we had on the trip through Kentucky. Also - bravo to the woman that greeted us. Her energy was fantastic and added to the enjoyment.

We stopped in here for a quick, late lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing bbq here and options! We settled on the pulled pork nachos and one of their super loaded BBQ potatoes and they were huge! We had plenty to split and to take home for later. Highly recommend giving this place a visit! Josh was so friendly and helpful and really added to the overall atmosphere of the experience. Highly recommend!

I had a bourbon glazed hamburger that was big enough for two. I had potato salad and it was great and I had smoked greens and it was all delicious. My hamburger had some barbecue sauce that was just fantastic not too sweet and not too bitter. The price was reasonable also. It was a great place and has late hours ❣️

This place was recommended to me by the local Taxi service Bardstown Taxi, and they nailed it! Great place to eat, nice people, loved the club sandwich. Definitely gave plenty to eat!

Traveling through Bardstown we stopped in and got a chicken sandwich and a hamburger. The service was very friendly. Atmosphere, The place was short on personality, however it was very clean. A lot like a fast food place. Our take on this place is, nothing is made fresh here, everything comes out of a tub or a bag. They relied on the condiments to give the bland chicken and burger flavor. Would we come back next time we are in Bardstown ? The answer is no.
