Scout & Scholar struck me as a nice brewery. The bartender was friendly, and the bar was comfortable. It seemed like a nice community brewery where people could gather for fun. All the beers I sampled were good, but the sours stood out to me as my favorites. It really hit the spot after walking in the heat and humidity for a while. The food menu looked good, but I resisted that as I had other plans. Overall, this is a good place to hang out in my opinion.
The house Old Fashion was really good. I would highly recommend that. Roast Beef PoBoy 3 out of 5. Nothing to write home about. Very bland but the beef was tender. Slaw Dogs were REALLY good, would definitely recommend them. Atmosphere was really nice.

The chef is amazing! I highly recommend the pork chops that is not your regular down home gravy. The bread pudding is insane
