Well went there & my girl friend got hit by some thugs & he still condone what they do by hitting on women and push women down and they do not do anything about it . So I highly recommend not to go this place at all if you’re going with the woman very rough place and the owner will not kick out the thugs for good customers.

So, I thought I'd found a hidden spot at Shorty's. The online reviews were promising, and the place looked cozy from the outside. Imagine my surprise when I pulled up, lights blazing, and the place was more locked down than Fort Knox! It was like trying to enter Area 51 without a government clearance. I'm starting to think Shorty's is actually a secret society that only initiates can access. Maybe there's a hidden button, a secret handshake, or a password I need to know? Or perhaps the aliens have finally taken over, and Shorty's is now their intergalactic headquarters. In all seriousness, it was a bit disappointing to find the place closed when it was advertised as open. Hopefully, next time I'm in town, I'll have better luck. Maybe I'll bring a decoder ring or a time machine.

Stopped in after a full day of Bourbon Trail Tours. Met the owners super friendly. Great local bar vibe. Good prices casual atmosphere. Being from out of town (western NY), we were welcomed and encouraged to stay for their evenings karaoke events. Being from the fingerlakes region, we are familiar with the big companies coming in and pushing the small businesses out. This is a great last "dive bar" standing. It's worth a stop for a cold one and a conversation.

Passed through town for work and stayed a night in town.. shorty, the owner, welcomed us at the door, and made us feel like we been there so many times. Decent dive bar with pool tables, darts, and the best part.. a boxing machine ? high score mine next time I'm around the area. Appreciate the hospitality ?

It's probably the best dive bar in Bardstown. Great place to grab some beers and play pool. Welcoming crowd and bar tender.
From out of town, the group that brought me here and Shorty made me feel right at home. Next time I am in town, which will be sooner than later, this will be the first place I go. Amazing people, great drinks, felt right at home. I wish I could be a regular. I don't know a better way to say how much I appreciate this bar.
