My girlfriend and I had gone to Jim Beam distillery, for a tour of bourbon. That was an awesome tour! We were hungry and wanted to go eat somewhere in Bardstown. One great burger place in the middle of town was closed on Sunday so we were looking for another place and found the grill at Maywood. When we pulled up were you realized it was on the golf course. It was like a little country club where they had golf. They had a nice pool and we went into the grill. It was very nice...

Good solid food with warm service. This is a country club grill serving a nice arraw of salads, sandwiches etc. We had a very good reuben with the sauerkraut left nicely briney and tangy. Really good fries. The Hot Brown made the gloppy one we had at the brown hotel a distant, faint memory. Good saucy cheese sauce, lots of layers: ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, sauce. The Caesar was serviceable. Perfect stop between distillery tours.
