Did the distillery tours of all my favorite bourbons and Willett was the best, hands down. From the minute our tour guide, Mike, introduced himself, I knew I was in for a treat. He was knowledgeable, personable, and had a great sense of humor. The time flew by on the tour as he told about the family legacy and answered questions I didn’t even know to ask! I hate I missed the egg salad sandwich and Saturday cheeseburgers but it gives me another reason to go back.
If you are looking to go on the bourbon trail, your visit isn’t complete without Willett. Ask for Mike! He is the best. He made the other name brand distilleries look like - ahhhh, what do the kids say - a 6-7!!!! Willett was a 10/10 - Definitely recommend!!!
Micheal was a phenomenal tour guide, we had such a blast! They space out your tastings throughout the tour, and give you 5 bourbons — IMO they have the smoothest tasting bourbons in the area, and the history, traditions, stories were delightful. I’ve been on several bourbon tour experiences and this one takes 1st place!
The whole experience at Willett was wonderful! Every staff member we interacted with from the front desk, to the bar, to the restaurant, to the tour with Shea was friendly and fun! The bourbon and food were also, of course, top notch!
An excellent tour & tasting experience of a family run distillery with intresting history.
We lived our visit to Willett! Shea did a great job of helping us understand the Willett story, and the bourbon was great! Shea is warm and friendly, and helped us celebrate my husband’s birthday.
This is a hidden gem on the Bourbon Trail. The staff and grounds are amazing but most importantly they have fantastic Bourbon.
Mason was an excellent knowledgeable tour guide. Doing the tasting during the tour is a great idea. Food was good but expensive.
Very cool grounds with a rich family history and story. Loved the Noah's Mill bourbon after sampling almost a dozen different iterations of bourbon.
Emma was our tour guide and she was an absolute gem!
Quality bottles and pretty venue 😁 Bought my “Nope” t-shirt after rolling my ankle on the sidewalk edging.
Very much enjoyed our visit last weekend to Willett Distillery. Learned a few things I did not know and enjoyed our tour.

Very informative. Our Bourbon Buddy, Matt was engaged and kept me and my friends entertained. We like the 'feel' of Willett over the larger distillerys.
Had a great time at Willett! Everyone was very friendly and the tour was great. I liked how the tasting was spread out through the tour so you had more time to process the tastes of the different bourbons.
What an amazing tour! Mason was awesome. Gave so much personality to his tour. I've been on quite a few and this was one of the best. Will highly recomend.
Awesome tour! The grounds and buildings are beautiful and so clean! The tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable on all things Willett and bourbon. You get to try 5 samples throughout the tour and keep your glass. Highly recommend!
The Willett tour with Shea was fabulous and the lunch at the restaurant was a home run! The distillery is well worth the time to visit. Fyi- the Carrots and Steak Tartare were delicious!
