Great food, good service, the only thing I could fault (the age of the building) has more to do with the fact the restaurant has outgrown its current building. The BBQ sandwich was outstanding with the vinegar coleslaw. The staff was friendly and always talking with you (regardless if they knew you). I was treat as though I ate there daily even though it was my first time.

Took about 45 minutes to get our order out. Ordered barbecue sandwich and side. Barbeque had large piece of fat and the curley fries were cold and greasy. The plate lunches at other tables around us look good.

The girl working the drive thru was super sweet and courteous. The food was phenomenal but don’t get the fries they were bland. Our salads were great and so fresh!!!

Great place, food was delicious, and the environment is always welcoming, only issues I faced was, the food did take slightly longer than expected though I understand since there were quite a lot of people, and to be honest, the food was easily worth the wait, the only other issue I faced was when I was paying the bill, there was a slight misunderstanding in how some waitresses write the bills and caused it to cost more but it was quickly resolved
Hutch burger is the best burger anywhere. They also have really good bar b que. One of the best places in Benton to eat breakfast.

Friendly folks, great service and delicious food is what we found at Hutchens BBQ during our visit to Benton. I highly recommend!!And don't let the name fool you. Their menu includes a lot of wonderful choices besides delicious BBQ.

On vacation from southern Illinois. Stopped in for dinner with my family. Nice diner atmosphere. I bought the pulled pork sandwich, couldn't really tell there was any BBQ on it. The pork was nice and tender, not overly dry...but could have used more flavor. My son got the ribs, which he said they were really good. Service wasn't the greatest...she did check on us and refill drinks. Just was not friendly at all. Same with the lady that took my payment. As soon as I went up to pay, she went in the room behind the register for a few minutes. Came back...there was no 'hi, hello, how was everything?' No smile...she just took my receipt and gave me my total. Customer service is half the experience in my opinion.
