Cocomo Confections

This place is poorly managed. I have had three evasive experiences. I ordered a cake for an event with over two weeks notice and prepaid. I showed them the receipt below and they said they didn’t have my order. There was no apology or anything.

I took a chance and ordered the Blueberry Cake for my mom’s Birthday Celebration. Typically, my family has to have the Strawberry or Coconut cake( which are both absolutely delicious). The Blueberry cake was delicious. Everyone at the party enjoyed the cake. It will definitely be added to our favorites from Cocomo Confections. And honestly, I have always been impressed with everything I have tried at this sweet little gem(Cocomo Confections). Thank you for the wonderful cake it always makes the celebration better.

Poorly managed with terrible customer service. When my order wasn’t ready the owner was argumentative although I had my receipt and he said he remembered me. He did not apologize. He said they would see if they could get it done. I opted for a refund and he didn’t refund my prepaid tip. That will teach me to include a tip before I get the finished product.

I am sorry to have to write this review, but I can, in no way, shop or support Cocomo Confections any longer due to their disservice to me at Christmas. I ordered a Boston Cream Cake for my son’s birthday from you on December 13, 2024. I told you his birthday was on December 24th, but we were not celebrating until the evening of the 26th with all of our family. We agreed upon me picking up the cake on the 26th at 2:00. I wrote the date on my calendar and told my husband I might need him to pick up the cake for me that day as it would be a very busy day. I paid them $84.68 by credit card, on December 13th. On December 24, I was at an appointment and received a voicemail message from Cocomo saying that you were going to close, and I needed to pick up my cake. My phone recorded the call coming into me at 2:17 pm. I did not listen to the message until after 4:00 pm due to an appointment. I tried to call them back immediately, but of course, they were closed. I was not too concerned as I knew I was supposed to pick up my cake after Christmas on the 26th. A little afternoon on Christmas Day, my son called me from his work and asked me if I had ordered him a Boston Cream Cake for his birthday. It was a surprise, so I asked him how he knew about it. He said a lady he worked with had called him and sent him a picture of a cake with his name on it. She had stopped by Cocomos to pick up a cake she had ordered for her Christmas dessert. When she opened the box, my son’s birthday cake was in it instead of the cake she ordered! She had paid for the cake again! He told her to enjoy it as we obviously would not be getting to, and she would not have a dessert without it either. He sent me pictures and it was the cake I had ordered. I tried to call them again on the 26th, multiple times and no answer. I even drove over to their shop, and it was closed. I tried so many times to call them after that date, but no one has ever answered. I finally got through one time and left a lengthy message and asked them to call me back, but they did not. On the last day of December, we had a close family member die, and we were involved in the aftermath of that for a couple of weeks. I was not able to follow-up during this time period. When I still had not heard from the business, I wrote a letter to the owner of the business. That was almost three weeks ago, and I have not heard from her, either. So, my only recourse at this point is to write a review on the major sites on social media and consider small claims court. I have lived in this community most of my life. I have always supported small businesses, but I can’t condone this kind of treatment, and I don’t want others in our community to do so, either. I had asked for my money back. If this had happened, I would have been happy and written it off as a mistake. But when a business or owner will not even answer letters written directly to them, or call me back after leaving a lengthy message, that tells me they are only interested in the $84.68 that they received from me and not me as a customer. Plus, they scammed the other lady for my cake, too. My advice is to be careful of this business if you use them. They like your money more than they like you. My family and extended family will not be using them again. I would like to give them a “0” rating, but “1” appears to be as low as possible.

Best German Chocolate Cake I’ve ever had!!!!

I am very disappointed with the outcome of the cake I ordered for my husband’s birthday. I specifically requested a design that incorporated elements of electrical engineering and encouraged creativity. However, the cake I received not only lacked these details but also had a completely different design from what I had envisioned. This does not meet the expectations we discussed, and I am deeply dissatisfied with the result.

Best place I have ever been to. We tried over 10 things and not a single one disappointed. They are all perfectly made and the service is amazing. If you haven’t gone…put it one your bucket list. It is the best around!

Any time I have ever come to this bakery, the service has always been top notch, and the food always delicious! I won't go anywhere else four birthday/event cakes!

First time going into cocomo confections and the guy who helped us was very nice and explained what everything was. My mom and I got a piece of cake and cheesecake. Both are fantastic! I highly recommend
