The staff was friendly and helpful and it was great talking the young woman who takes care of the cows when we took the self guided tour. Bravo Chaney’s Dairy Farm. EVERYONE SHOULD SUPPORT THIS LOCAL FAMILY FARM.”

Today I ordered biscuit and gravy and told Connie I wanted the most well done biscuit she had. “I just left from dining inside. I ordered on the app and went inside and didn't have to wait but a couple minutes for my food. I met Anne, she was going around the dining area checking on everyone. She got a refill for me and I spoke to her for a few minutes, she is super sweet! This was my first time dining inside, usually I just use the drive thru. So clean inside too.”

“Great prices, good food. Thankful for all the hard workers there. I have to criticize a bit though. I ordered online and waited 25-30 minutes before I left to pick it up. When I got to the checkout counter. I was told that the online order probably didnt go through. She walked off immediately and was talking to her coworkers. Came back and asked what my order was. What name, and if I didnt have a confirmation code. there wasnt a thing she could do. I showed her the screenshot I had of my confirmation number. She said that she can take my order again in person and they could start on it. So I told her mine, but I wasnt sure about my girlfriend's. Told her I'd have to check. So I had to get behind a couple people and then when I came up to finish my order. She walked off and talked with her coworkers. I waited a good 5 min probably. Then came back and asked if I had gotten my money back and I had my email up with the message from their payment processor, they had refunded me and that they could not get in contact with Lisas 5th street diner. (Probably because of being so busy). So then the lady who I talked to acted like I was a bother. She was very stressed out and scattered brained, so I can understand. She was a bit rude. I was nothing but respectful and patient. I waited for about 45 minutes to get my food. When they called my name. The same lady. I came up to the counter. Tried to make eye contact and ask if the order sitting on the counter was mine, and she ignored me and continued talking to her coworker. So I grabbed the bag and walked out to my car. Started up my car amd was about to leave when she runs out and yells my name. I get out of my car and come back. Hand her the wrong order I picked up and she was like it's okay honey. If you would have left you would have been really bad but you're okay. I followed her up to the counter and she got my order and I was like yeah "you're okay". I understand it's chaotic. I don't know how y'all handle it all. Thank you. From this rant what I can sum up is that they have issues with communications on their part between their payment processor and too much going on for some of the workers to handle. If you treat customers like they're a bother, and they caused a problem by taking the wrong order accidently, especially after waiting for and hour and a half from the 1st initial order. You are not taking responsibility for your businesses negligence and miscommunication. Don't act like the customer should be sorry for the mishap.”

We chose to seat at Micki's, the bar, that has the same menu of the restaurant with a cozy Louisiana style. We became regulars on Friday nights out and we're planning to try each time a different course of the exquisite menu.”

“We dined at The Bistro Thursday 12-2-2022. We sat at the bar which we found to be warm and cozy . Our server was Kelan . Kelan was our bartender, waiter, and food advisor. Kelan was spot on with his recommendations . We found the wedge and Caesar salads to be delicious. The chicken piccata was superb as was black grouper. The dessert, chocolate Bailey’s mousse cake was mouth watering! Kelan’s service, efficiency , and friendliness were a delight to experience . Thanks to Kelan! Dick and Sue”

I would recommend this to anyone either staying at the hotel, or just wanting to enjoy a great breakfast buffet. Just remember when the hotel is full to realize there will be a wait, but most other times you can get set pretty easily. So, for sure check this place out!”

I wish they would add the bread rolls from the morning meal like the minis for breakfast.

It is a nostalgic asset to the city and should be preserved. Susan Warrell, the owner, is dedicated to creating a wonderful environment and ice cream for all to enjoy.”

“Kindness Cafe, with its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food, may be my new fave restaurant. I visited with a group of eight and we placed our orders at the front counter. I had half of the Everything Avo and half of the Sweet Tooth and it was so tasty. Portion sizes are good and everything is so fresh. The staff are friendly and welcoming and service was fairly speedy. I’m looking forward to going back again!”
