“High-end restaurant without the stuffy pretentiousness, great place for adult birthdays or anniversaries. Knowledgeable front-end staff that cover each other. Good variety of steaks, pastas, and seafood. This review written after third visit: all orders were cooked perfectly. Recommend the bourbon-smoked sweet potatoes (also can be a dessert) and the two spinach sides; steak toppings are Oscar or the Asiago butter; appetizers would be the tuna tartar, calamari, or the crab cake. Lauren was a perfect waitstaff, Vanessa was my recommended bartender.”

“Neat place, we enjoyed our visit very much. I had no idea they had a full bar too, and their drink specials were amazing. They don't have a restaurant but do post about the upcoming food trucks on their Facebook page. They also allow you to bring food in from elsewhere, so we picked up some tasty grub from Burger & Bowl before we got our beer on.The only thing that made me sad is they do sell their beer in cans, but they only had 2 of them. There was a particularly wonderful Belgian on tap that we hoped to take some cans of and bring to our bottle share group, but it wasn't one of the available varieties. Maybe next time we're visiting that area we'll get lucky! And if not, we'll just stop in for some tasty pints.”

We chose to seat at Micki's, the bar, that has the same menu of the restaurant with a cozy Louisiana style. We became regulars on Friday nights out and we're planning to try each time a different course of the exquisite menu.”

“Food and service were amazing! I found this place on Groupon, we are not from the area but traveling through. The crab beignets, filet (so tender) and shrimp & grits were phenomenal!! Annie was our waitress and she did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend. We will be back for sure.”

“Always a great place to eat. Since it's in a plaza there is plenty of parking. The waiting staff is always friendly, kind and on top of things. I have some food restrictions which they accommodated without issue. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: You can also ask for no meat on dishes”

“I am very pleased with the experience. It's nice to have an authentic Italian option in Bowling Green and a good one to boot. I tried Nonna's lasagne, and it exceeded my expectations. The sunshine fiz cocktail was refreshing and delicious, and the glass merlot was celvety smooth and mellow.”

“The service is hit or miss depending on what time of day you go. The appetizers are also very expensive compared to what you get.The parmesan crusted chicken is probably the best item on the menu, followed by any steak.Parking: During the busy times, you can expect to park at the mall and walk.”

“Newly remodeled, the atmosphere is fantastic. Nice music system and even an indoor waterfall. Really pretty color scheme. Easy on the eyes. I had a ribeye for lunch and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked to medium and so was the baked potato. Hot as it should Side salad nice and crispy with the right amount of dressing. Service was quick as usual. Courtesy is never an issue here.”

“It's not cheap so I ordered from the fried menu and O M GEE they had the best fried oysters I've had in years! Fried catfish was good too! Fries and everything was fresh and hot! Super nice server! (Gracie S).”

“This place is great! Their Pan Dulce is delicious ! You will never find fresh pan Dulce anywhere else in Bowling Green. Been a customer for years and their pan has always been my Favorite . Customer service is also great. Jose and Jackie always have a great attitude and smile and I love that about Mercadito.”

The portion size was insulting, however. $9 for a tiny basket of fried pickles is insane. Otherwise, wonderful food. Great pizza too.”

“I sometimes eat here at the cafe in the morning for breakfast. It is an awesome buffet in the morning and always great food. Staff is always warm and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone either staying at the hotel, or just wanting to enjoy a great breakfast buffet. Just remember when the hotel is full to realize there will be a wait, but most other times you can get set pretty easily. So, for sure check this place out!”

“The food was delicious and over-the-top plentiful. I'm fat and was full before I was even 1/4 done (leftovers!!). Service started off slightly rocky but quickly improved.$64 + gratuity for 2 people. Dinner for 2 w/ filet & chicken, plus 2 drinks. Not bad at all in my book.The older gentleman in the apron at the podium was great to watch. His natural energy is unparalleled!
