Meltdown Ice Cream & Soda Fountain is a must-visit. The flavors are incredibly creative and absolutely delicious—every scoop feels like a fun surprise. You can tell so much care goes into what they make, and it keeps us coming back again and again.
It's pretty hard to brag about a milkshake. After all, it is just milk and ice cream. But I just tried Meltdown for the first time after hearing about a local ice cream shop in town, and I absolutely love supporting local. But I gotta say, for a milkshake, particularly the cookies n cream shake, it was an excellent milkshake. Blended to perfection so as to not be too thin or too thick. This lovely ice cream store sits in a beautiful historic building in downtown Bowling Green, Ky. As unique as the building is, the ice cream is equally astounding. Each flavor is carefully made with a unique flavor from many local products. The storefront makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. It is a nostalgic asset to the city and should be preserved. Susan Warrell, the owner, is dedicated to creating a wonderful environment and ice cream for all to enjoy.
