Overall the food and vibe was good, but the wait time was ridiculous. Went to get breakfast and waited over an hour to get our food. It was just my fiancé and I so don’t understand how two small plates could take near that long. If you have time to kill it’s a great place, but if you ever in a hurry don’t bother coming here.
Redneck Omelet was great

Great place for a great breakfast and drinks. Alcohol isn’t served until 10am but the delicious food helps out until the bar is open. I tried the All American breakfast and I was completely satisfied. Next time I’m in Bowling Green I will visit!!!

vibes are weird. definitely serves one demographic and that’s older white people. not friendly to young college females or sorority girls. waitress seemed nice at first and then turned sarcastic and made us feel as if we were bothering her. it was bizarre and didn’t really feel welcome anymore. my friend and i didn’t want to ask for anything else and it was our first time coming here. won’t be returning. don’t recommend. decent food though but lisa’s diner is better for the price and service.

Amazing food &wonderful prices ❣️
Place was very clean, prices were good, and the beer was cold.
The food was typical bar food. Frozen items deep fried. The chicken strips tasted like they were cooked in the same greese as the catfish but otherwise nothing stood out good or bad.
The bartender seemed like she was ready to go home and seemed to be wanting us to be done so she could close up.
I did enjoy the beer and all the big screens with sports on them

Was expecting much better based of the rave reviews for breakfast. Portions were small, fried potatoes had no seasoning/flavor neither did sausage in the breakfast burritos.

I had the redneck omelette, and it was delicious! I asked Shana for a spicy Bloody Mary, and she made me one of the best I've ever had!

After eating here on a somewhat regular basis for over a decade, there is only one issue I have. There are a couple of waitresses here that are fantastic, and the rest are all at least good if not very good. Except one. This particular waitress is one of if not the worst wait-staff I've ever had at any restaurant. She started a couple of years ago now, but doing the basic job requirements of a waitress seems like the hardest thing in the world for her. Checking on her tables? A rare occurrence. Bringing refills? I'm not sure I've ever seen it. Even seeing her consistently on the floor taking care of her other tables may happen 25-50% of the time. You're more than likely to see her trying to chat with another employee who is trying to work. And that's if you see her on the floor at all. And that's if its busy or at least a steady stream of patrons. If its slow, its even worse. I've talked with others who frequent on a regular basis and its a general consensus to try and avoid her section if at all possible. One day several months back was the worst it's ever been. After taking our orders and bringing our drinks, we did not see her at our table for about an hour (because we finally got her attention). Another waitress had to bring us our food, and we had to stop other staff more than once for something, whether for a refill or otherwise. We saw her on the floor maybe 2 or 3 times during the time, but even the other waitresses had no idea where she was when she wasn't on the floor. We had finished eating for close to 30 min before finally flagging her down to bring the check, which still took another 15 min. She never apologized or even bothered trying to explain where she had been, so it must not have been all that important. In my opinion, if she can't even do the bare basics of the job, then she needs to find another avenue of employment. I wouldn't keep going back if the food wasn't good or most/all of the staff was the same. But anytime we get unlucky enough to be in her section, we know we're in for an unfortunately unpleasant experience.

We love Doug’s! It’s a basic restaurant/bar that has great home-cooked food. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns—that sort of thing. Walk in and grab a seat. They’ll bring ya some coffee
