This is the kind of place the locals come to and don’t tell anyone about to keep it to themselves. The food was great. The bacon…WOW! The prices were pretty cheap too. If I lived in the area, I would be eating here a lot. Amazing place.

They actually cook food here! They don't dump it from a bag to be nuked, which is rare to find!

Have eaten breakfast at Doug's on several occasions when staying in Bowling Green.
Great food and coffee.
Only suggestion, waitresses need to be more friendly.

Revised review: went today, sat in a booth for 10 minutes and no one came to take the order. Then told the kitchen was already closed. Will never return!

The picture of the burger and fries is from a previous visit when they actually gave a darn about their customers. Today, the lady said, “Oh well,” when I explained that we had been sitting there for ten minutes. Shame on you!

No wait for seating. Our waitress was very nice. Food was not exceptional, but was still good. Not sure it I would make a special trip back here but not opposed to visiting again.

Love this place but it has weird hours so twice this trip I just missed it. Closes at 2pm?!

Overall the food and vibe was good, but the wait time was ridiculous. Went to get breakfast and waited over an hour to get our food. It was just my fiancé and I so don’t understand how two small plates could take near that long. If you have time to kill it’s a great place, but if you ever in a hurry don’t bother coming here.

Great place for a great breakfast and drinks. Alcohol isn’t served until 10am but the delicious food helps out until the bar is open. I tried the All American breakfast and I was completely satisfied. Next time I’m in Bowling Green I will visit!!!

vibes are weird. definitely serves one demographic and that’s older white people. not friendly to young college females or sorority girls. waitress seemed nice at first and then turned sarcastic and made us feel as if we were bothering her. it was bizarre and didn’t really feel welcome anymore. my friend and i didn’t want to ask for anything else and it was our first time coming here. won’t be returning. don’t recommend. decent food though but lisa’s diner is better for the price and service.

Place was very clean, prices were good, and the beer was cold.

The food was typical bar food. Frozen items deep fried. The chicken strips tasted like they were cooked in the same greese as the catfish but otherwise nothing stood out good or bad.

The bartender seemed like she was ready to go home and seemed to be wanting us to be done so she could close up.

I did enjoy the beer and all the big screens with sports on them
