My wife and I ordered food tonight. My wife got the rib eyed fajita $25 plate that comes with two sides. She wanted cooked onions and brussel sprouts as her sides. They bring her plate (main dish) but no sides.We waved down the server, and when we told him her dish was incomplete, and she didn't get any of her sides that come with the meal, and she wanted onions and brussel sprouts, he apparently had no idea what brussel sprouts were because they made the cooked onions/peppers but still no brussel sprouts.We went to pay and found out that they had charged us for the sides that were supposed to come with the meal in the first place!The tulum special I had was okay except for two pieces of shrimp that tasted as if they had been soaking in pond water. Also it gave me an upset stomach.I do not recommend this particular El Mazatlan. I've been to quite a few and never had an experience like tonight. I definitely will not be going back.

I posted a good review about a year ago. I'm changing my review to 3 stars. Food has good taste just a bit lukewarm almost cold comes very quickly. We received undercooked food sent it back and I speak enough Spanish to know I was understood. The food was brought back same food so said again its not cooked enough got a fresh plate very quickly same thing undercooked. Manager was a flat out jerk we were not. I did politely ask if that was the way he treated customers and said yes and no problem with the food its good and cooked. Needless to say he needs training. We will not be back. However all the other locations are great.

The best El Maz in town!! Food and drinks are always high quality. I have a 10/10 experience each visit.Parking: Parking in a small strip area. Difficult to find close parking 11-2 and 5-8

The food and atmosphere was better than average. The service needed some work. Maybe they was having a off night and we had a spill that happened and the server didn't react quickly to help us. The server checked with other customers before helping us when she knew we had a spill. The other problem was when we was waiting for the server to pay the bill. She never came back to the table and She saw us looking at her. Lucky for us we was able to get someone else to take care of us. Overall I would have given a better rating if i had gotten better service.

Food was okay but we never got refills and our waitress left while we were eating and we never had anyone else check on us or take over and when we finally got the attention of a waiter and asked for the check after sitting there for 45 minutes and the manager he was extremely rude and inconsiderate and brushed us off we will definitely not bring our family meals to El mazatlan again and do not suggest this restaurant
