Traveling we search yelp for local eateries. Lisa came up with good reviews for food. Husband ordered hamburger steak pink it came well done,I had patty melt, over done. Service when we walked in we stood there assuming someone would direct us!!!! Finally a fellow Parton spoke up and said sit anywhere. We sat in poach area with torn screens, flies. Went to bathroom totally gross, filthy, and walking to and from the floors, walls, areas very dirty. Very disappointed. Needless to say we will not return!

Went in very busy so I was ok with my wait.but everytime I give them a try.i see lack of hanswashing and twice now I had to address why they use bare hands to put bread etc on people's plates.no tongs or anything.food was off the dressing was like box stuffing and the cornbread salad was dry and I love the salad any other time. The worker I really focus on was going from plating to cashier .She was making plates after touch the register and money.no gloves and still touching bread from the warmer.etc I forgot that why I stop going before.

We had a great time at Lisa's, a hidden gem in Bowling Green for feel good country cooking! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the BG themed decor inside. Lots of indoor seating. I ordered the Country Fried Steak which was HUGE and really tasty. For sides I seem to have chosen all the same color - mac n cheese (kind of soggy and bland), corn (like from a can), and hashbrown casserole (the best side of the 3). The sweet tea was absolutely perfect. I think there could be some improvements in the sides but overall enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere!! You can tell that they have a lot of regulars. Would love to come back to try breakfast.

The food is out of this world good. But the wait times and lacking customer service bring the score down.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast this morning on our way to Michigan. This place was packed, surprisingly we didn’t have to wait. The service was excellent, prompt and friendly. Our breakfast came out pretty quickly and was very good. I wish I had thought to take pictures. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a great experience.

Food was good. Service laid back country slow. Definite farm country diner atmosphere which was good. Our breakfast burritos were delicious.

Great home cooking style food that was fast, hot, and cheap!! Can't find better food for your dollar in BG than here

We decided to stop in for some southern cooking. The food was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and inviting. Our waitress Becky suggested the fish and it was the best we have had. Definitely recommend this place if your passing through Bowling Green.
