Firehouse Subs Bowling Green

Firehouse has great subs but my dealings with the GM were even better. Zander went out of the way to help with an issue we had with an online order. Kindness goes a long way even if you don’t get a quick resolution. The GM repeatedly apologized humbly even though there was no fault with the store or anything they had direct involvement in. Thanks for going the extra mile Zander and Happy Holidays!

Quite a few of the staff @ this location need an attitude adjustment! I’ve learned to ignore it—because I love the food—but tonight was attitude AND cold soup! This is my first negative review of any place I frequent in Bowling Green, KY.

I was in there at lunch time today, and the lady with the purple hair, I’m assuming she was a manger… she reprimanded her entire staff in front of the whole restaurant and loud enough for everyone to hear. It seriously seemed like she wanted to embarrass her staff. I honestly felt really bad for everyone working there today. They all looked defeated as if nothing they do is good enough for her. She first off yelled and demanded everyone put down what they’re doing and look at her. Keep in mind, the restaurant was very busy at this point, and I placed a to-go order that wasn’t ready and I’ve already been there 10 or so minutes. She then began to tell her staff that she better hear everyone greet customers as soon as they enter and leave the establishment. Maybe I’m missing something, but I think she needs to be kinder to her staff and maybe she would get a different work ethic out of them. She definitely seems like the type of manger that demands respect, wants to be a hard ass and being “manger” goes to her head. I hope the owners read this. She definitely needs to learn some kindness and also not let the entire restaurant know, if there is a problem.

Great subs! Mac n cheese was delicious. If you get a couple regular subs with sides and drinks its pricey like Penn Station. We'll go back just not too often because of the price. Subway has buy one get one subs all the time. Firehouse needs to get in the game.

My family and I stopped at Firehouse Subs for a quick dinner. The store was very clean and the staff immediately greeted us. I ordered the meatball pizza sub and let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING. This was also my kids first time at a firehouse subs. They were telling me how it was so flavorful and that it beats subway hands down. They keep asking to go back. Keep up the amazing work Firehouse.
