Sometimes I love Geno's and sometimes the food is inedible. We went in to eat one day a few weeks ago and I had a great sandwich, it was an Italian sandwich and had the best meat and veggies and I told the young lady who prepared it how great it was. My husband went in a couple of weeks later and ordered the same sandwich for me and it was so awful. The meat was so terrible. It was like someone had reached into the bottom of the case and pulled out the oldest and worst meat possible. One of the meats was so tough that I couldn't even bite into it. It couldn't be eaten at all. That was enough to ruin my appetite when I couldn't eat it and then when I looked at it I could see how bad it truly was. Nothing about the sandwich was good. I have no idea how one person could make such a great sandwich and another the worst ever with the same ingredients. My husband did go in close to closing and didn't realize that until he ordered. It was a Wednesday and he thought they closed at five instead of three. I don't know if the guy who made it was mad or just didn't care. I had to throw the majority of it away. No one wants to pay good money and then get something that you can't eat at all. I see good to great reviews, but we have had food there a number of times now and about half of those times it has been very good and the other it has been the exact opposite. I want to be able to give them the best reviews and we love places that are locally owned. Has anyone else had this kind of experience?

My first experience of Geno's was not a good one. I placed a pickup order and I arrived at the quoted time for pickup. I let them know I was there for a pickup and the cashier laughed and told me it wasn't ready yet. I waited for another 30 minutes before asking again if my order was ready and they told me another 10 minutes. I understand it was busy and during lunchtime but every customer that had come after me to order had already received their meals while I was still waiting for my sub and pasta salad. I ended up leaving empty handed since my food still wasn't ready. An apology would have gone a long way in this situation!

Small town feel and absolutely gourmet breakfast. Opted for The corned beef hash, freshly shaved corned beef on top of home cooked potatoes with a good amount of cheddar, onions, jalapenos at a good portion.
Service was friendly from both individuals working today, they were fast and efficient considering how busy they were. The coffee was good, too.
Price? Pleasantly surprising. Under $15 for breakfast including coffee? I for one greatly appreciate it.

Was in Bowling Green for an appt and happen to drive by Geno's via navigation. I could tell from the outside it was just like the authentic Italian sandwich shops I grew up going to in Virginia and Staten Island. Immediately the decor and young lady behind the counter made me and my feel at home. Make their own bread, cold side dishes, and desserts. I got the Geno's sub and it did not disappoint... Delicious, warm your soul kind of food here! Will be bringing the family here and this will be our go to spot everytime we come to BG. Blessings to the family who runs this shop. Truly, thank you!

I've pizza here in the past that was gross from the grease. I just tried spaghetti and meatballs. There was no flavor. The sauce was like red water with pieces of tomato that had been boiled to mush. I know a lot of Bowling Green people like Geno's, it's not for me.

Had the Geno's Classic Gyro and it was heckin good. The meat was so tender, with great flavor and taste. I'll have to try the Persian style next time.
Really quaint little Deli, nice atmosphere and music.

One of my new favorites!!! Everybody's food was very good and nice size portions!! Senior discount made me very happy, I fed my group of 5 for $45. 3 adults and 2 children, that's value for a fresh cooked meal!! We will be back!!

Great food and reasonable prices. I have eaten there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Never had a bad meal. Calzones are the best around.
Geno's offers a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, pasta dishes, desserts and a solid and affordable breakfast menu.
It's the perfect place to grab a house-made dessert to go, or stock your fridge with high-quality Italian deli meats.
Enjoy the speedy and friendly service when you get breakfast or lunch at Geno's!
