Geno's Italian Deli

Excellent food! So much better than we expected from a deli! A huge selection of foods, good portions, everything felt homemade, friendly owner and clean restaurant. If we were local we’d be regulars!

I got the strawberry cream soda, best I've ever had. Also had #3 two eggs toast and fruit.

Fantastic! When hunger strikes and you’re not from the area the only option for me is to ask the locals for recommendations and Geno’s Italian Deli came up again and again. By far the BEST au jus I’ve ever tased. Fresh meats, made to order pizza and calzones, delicious sandwiches made with quality products. I will make the hour drive again!

This little hole in the wall diner lived up to the hype! Delicious food at reasonable prices, fresh meats and the most delicious Au Jus I’ve ever tasted! Spent under $50 to feed my family of 5! There’s just something about the peeling paint, fresh stocked deli cases, and smiling faces that makes it taste amazing!

Ordered a sub @ 7:50am. Was told 15min. 8:25am I get to the counter, tell the guy my name to grab my sub for lunch for work. He then goes to make the sub. You haven’t made it??? No. Very plain faced like there is nothing wrong with his customer service. So 35min later still not ready?!? Unbelievable. They move super slow always, not the 1st time I’ve been there but will be the last. But to offer call in ordering & not accommodate the order? Madness. Please don’t tell me, oh it’s a local fav cause I don’t care. People should operate in a timely manner in order to accommodate everyone, not just the unemployed or those that have all the time in the world. 35min is more than enough time to make a sub. Wasn’t able to go else where so I’ll have to figure lunch out some other way. Insanity.

This place is absolutely amazing! Not only is the food AWESOME, the people there are so sweet. I have heard of this restaurant for a while but me and my friends decided to go for the first time a few days ago and I am blown away!!!! All three of us said it was a 10/10 experience!

I was in BG getting my car serviced. I looked in Google maps to see what was around. Geno's was on the way back to the parkway, so I ordered a pizza online. When I got there to pick it up, I walk in and it was like being in a deli somewhere in New York. They had a case of beautiful cheesecakes and canolis. A kind gentleman gave me my pizza and I got in the car and opened the box. It was perfect! The crust was like a true Sicilian pizza, crispy on bottom and puffy on top. Lite and airy, not heavy or dense. The toppings were so fresh and delicious. The sauce was so fresh with a little sweetness to it. This was by far the greatest pizza I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back to the dealership for my next service appointment so I can go back to Geno's!

The best sandwiches around!

The sandwiches here are amazing, and I could not have expected better service than we received from the wonderful counter staff! This is definitely where I'm coming back to get lunch sandwiches to go for my next vacation to Bowling Green.

Can't really review this place as we have now tried several times to go and they were closed. Google search showed they were open until 5 pm but they had a hand written sign that showed it closed at 3 pm that day. We were there at 4:15... So for now, giving up on this place and it may cross my mind sometime in the future. Either way, I think they should be open at least until 7 pm.

Have tried to eat here 3 times and they are never open. Went there on Monday to find they closed at 3 when their website said 5.

The staff and crew were extremely curtious and kind. The food was outta' this world good, and the atmosphere ? was good. We'll be back! Hustly* and Busly* busy bc they have 5 star ? ? food! Thanks Y'all ?!

Stopped in after visiting the Corvette Museum. I talked to the girl at the counter to ask what she recommended and I ended up getting the Smothered Beef sub and it was fantastic!

The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. And the decor has that small Italian deli vibe to it. Overall I was happy I stopped by.
