I recently visited Golden Hibachi Buffet in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and overall had a great experience. The buffet offers a nice assortment of dishes, ranging from traditional hibachi options to a solid selection of sushi. The food was pretty good with one major exception that I see at almost every Chinese Buffet style restaurant. The food is not hot enough! Everything is just warm, but not hot, and there is always that thought lingering in the back of your mind. Is this safe to eat? Other than that the only complaint would be that the tables are super sticky. I don't think it is a sanitary issue, I believe the topcoat of clear is slowly dissolving onto your arms and shirtsleeves.
Pretty good Chinese buffet compared to most others. I do like that they refresh the food often. We have been there twice, and it has been good each time. They have one of the largest selections I've seen in awhile Sushi, hibachi, salad, seafood, and everything in between you can imagine for a Chinese buffet. Definitely worth going to if you like Chinese buffet style!
