It's A Southern Thing did a phenomenal job at our wedding! I have never been to a wedding where everyone was talking about the food. We did the grazing table which was a huge hit - almost gone before dinner and the entrees and sides we picked complimented each other. At the tasting - Susan was very thorough and we even had my in laws there and she had no problem cooking for them as well. We were not planning to have a cake as my husband and I are not sweet type people but Susan gave us the option to do a cake and cupcakes which everyone loved including us. We told her we had a few people that could not have gluten and she adjusted appropriately. She was super easy to communicate with and even when we had to reschedule she was on time and very sweet. Best food at a wedding I have ever had!

It's a Southern Thing was amazing to work with for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception at the National Corvette Museum. They were awesome to work with.

Susan took my daughter’s vision and made it happen. From the beautifully displayed charcuterie table (for 150 people) to the prime rib carving station, all was delicious. Our guests loved the potato fixing bar. Cake and desserts were delicious AND beautiful. We look forward to working with Susan again for all of our catering needs.

It’s A Southern Thing did a phenomenal job at our wedding! Susan Appling was incredible! Our first caterer canceled on us two months before the wedding, but Susan worked with us quickly to build the perfect breakfast for dinner buffet, and it was a huge hit! Every item was not only delicious, but also hot and fresh. We’ve gotten a ton of compliments on the food. The buffet line set up looked amazing and the staff was so friendly!
