This was a unique place my wife found on our drive back from Florida. Out of the way but we needed to stretch and relax.Started with the dip trio. Cheese was gritty, but the guacamole was great.Moved onto tacos. I had a brisket taco and a fried chicken taco. I can't remember the exact names. They were okay. Flavors tended to meld well, but the meats were not very hot. Also had mexitots as my side, and I was not a fan at all. The sauce on them was good, but the center was just mush with some jalapeño.Our waitress was attentive and got some refills. The place seemed decently clean.I believe it was an okay place but not something I would go out of my way to go to again.

Hopefully it was a one off because the tacos here are delicious...but I walked in at 7:30pm on a Wednesday with the place half empty with my small son. Had to repeat my to go order 3 times to the person behind the bar like a chicken with its head cut off.Breathe...

I tried local taco for the first time on the 1st of the month and the entire staff team that night worked SO hard to cater to the max capacity of customers dining in on top of the line of Togo orders they cleared. despite the building being packed, our food came out 10 minutes after ordering and I loved what the bartender recommended for me. I got the southern fried tacos, and 2 of them were enough to make me feel full. The chicken they use for them is so crispy and they have the freshest tasting pico I’ve ever had. We got a chip trio as well, and I swear this place has the best chips in town!! I’ve already gone back once and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something new in town!

I have been a couple of times when I was in the area. Every time I am kind of disappointed. A few tacos I really like the ingredients, but they do not cook the tortillas. They are straight out of the bag. So close, to being great, but not taking 30 seconds to cook a tortilla kills it.

I have always loved their food but the service tonight was over the top. On a busy friday night at 6:00 I expected a wait. The parking lot is always busy so my husband dropped me off. A waitress approached me and asked me how many were in my party, I told her 2 and asked her how long the wait would be, she replied, not too long as a few tables in her area we're finishing up. I went outside to tell my husband that he should park so we could eat there. When I walk back in the owner approached me and said there were probably three groups ahead of us, of which I knew a couple walked in after me, I told her I had already been in and she said she would keep an eye open for a table. I was approached by yet another waitress, who asked how many in our party and said she would also keep an eye open for a table in her area. We were seated within 10 minutes as well as the other parties that came in at about the same time. The service was fast, food amazing, especially the trio appetizer of salsa, guac and their not to be missed queso with addictive chips. Blacked grouped tacos and baja shrimp tacos were outstanding.
