Service was very good. Sunday after Church so naturally busy . We were waited promptly. Very nice waiter.

Love the way this place looks! Really cool 😎 the service was nice and food was great, only thing is that it took 44 mins to get two hoagies out to us but it tasted great.

Mellow Mushroom is my favorite pizza place in Bowling Green. I get take out lunch there almost weekly and dine in with friends occasionally. The food is superb and the staff helpful and friendly.

DINE IN GUEST DESERVE BETTER
To our surprise were seated quickly, but it took over an hour for our simple order (2 pizzas, calzone, and kids’ tenders and frieds) to arrive. Meanwhile, takeout orders were flying out the door, which made it feel like dine-in guests weren’t a priority. I would say about 30-35 people came through the pickup line while we waited.

The wait and our waitress’s dismissive “yeah we’re really busy” response really hurt the experience. With three hungry kids, a little acknowledgment, quicker service, or even small gestures like chips or extra drinks would have gone a long way. Fun atmosphere, but they need to rethink how they balance dine-in vs. takeout and train staff on customer courtesy. I get it the waitress was young but a little empathy and effort would have gone a long way.

Some friends and myself went to Mellow mushroom tonight. There were at least 10 of us. We got there at 725 pm and we only had one server. It took us over 45 minutes to get our food. The manager was not very friendly. When it came time to cash out our bills we had to wait well over 15 minutes to get cashed out. I asked to speak to the manager about us waiting for a long time and he didn’t come out to see me about my complaint. When we got our checks back the server didn’t call out our names to give change back or give our cards back she just put the cards and change on the table and left them there. I will not go back until I know that the place. Has improved

First time and it was pretty good. The wait was long but it was expected. It was a busy night. The waitress was super nice. The pizza was flavorful but I asked for it well done (charred) and the pizza took awhile but it was a busy night and I assumed it may take longer cause we asked for it well done. Like I said the flavor was great but the crust was not well done. Almost tasted a little uncooked. :( I was heartbroken because I heard this place was closest to New Haven CT style pizza. ( I just moved down from Connecticut) Thay It was not. Will try again and maybe get a hoagie.

Got the house special pizza medium size.man what a great pizza. I’ve eaten pizza in new York at lombardis and this pizza was in the same as far as taste and the crust was awesome. Hands down best pizza in bowling green

First time at this location and overall really good. Pizza was great, and worth the wait. Everything is always fresh including salads. This is a very consistant chain restaurant and never have any surprises. I prefer their pizza over others because of quality ingredients including the sauce which makes it. My girlfriend didn't especially like the strawberry marguerita, she wasn't used to theirs, but they had no issues replacing it with strawberry lemonade which she really enjoyed, no charge. Great place! For family and entertaining guests.
Update: 08/13/25 another great exceptional experience here. House Pizza loaded was fantastic along with green pepper steak sandwich and wings, superb.

Friendly, prompt service along with tasty pizza and drinks. Can't go wrong with Mellow Mushroom. It's the last great pizza restaurant left in BGKY. So glad we have it!
