My family of seven walked in right at closing time tonight (we didn’t realize until we were walking out 🙃). The two friendly staff members immediately jumped from their cleaning stations and greeted us with big smiles, ready to serve. They were so kind and patient, even helping us decide on our flavors. That’s the kind of genuine service that makes a local business stand out. Thank you! We all loved our flavors. 🍦💛

We were in BG for WKU Parent's Weekend and our daughter took us to Meltdown for a treat. The sorbet was ABSOLUTELY amazing, and my husband enjoyed the egg cream. The shop is adorable and the staff was excellent. Can't wait to visit again.

Charming ice cream shop in Fountain Square, Meltdown is a great place to get your ice cream fix from a true local! Not a huge selection of ice cream like the chains, but what they have is top notch! We got a banana split and they caramelize it after splitting in half! So good! Really needs to be a must-stop if you’re looking for a sweet treat.

Fresh made Ice Cream, hand scooped. Good selection of flavors to choose from. The service was fast and efficient. They had a young lady working the checkout who had some challenges, but was friendly and engaging. A good stop while in Bowling Green during your University visit.
Great spot on the square in Bowling Green. Old school ice cream parlor with hand churned treats. Could use a little more seating. They the Bourbon Cream flavor! Yummy!

It's pretty hard to brag about a milkshake. After all, it is just milk and ice cream. But I just tried Meltdown for the first time after hearing about a local ice cream shop in town, and I absolutely love supporting local. But I gotta say, for a milkshake, particularly the cookies n cream shake, it was an excellent milkshake. Blended to perfection so as to not be too thin or too thick. And whatever ice cream they use, it has a great taste. I will definitely be frequenting this place for my summer sweet tooth cravings
