My friends and I live far away from each other, so we met in the middle in Bowling Green. We stopped here on a Wednesday night, the first night we were there after a long drive. To our surprise, it was trivia night! We had so much fun and they played boy band music, which was right up our alley. We didn’t do so well at trivia, but we had a lot of fun!

Food was delicious staff was very friendly. I would've liked for the TV's to be turned on to have something to do while waiting for our food, but maybe thats just me. I do have one main problem that irked me. The menu prices do not match when you get your check. I asked our amazing server why there were price differences and she stated that the menu reflects cash payment prices. I wish the menu or someone would've told us that so it wouldn't have surprised us at the end of our meal. It also didnt say anywhere on the recipt that there was an upcharge. :(

I enjoyed my first visit to the Ramen Bar during new lunch hours too! Chose the build my own Poke Bowl and it was good. Portions of toppings were limited but plenty of rice. Service was good. Place looks like it is set up for a concert or karaoke and a party. I'll have to try some actual ramen next time!

My Daughter Loves this place,so she took me there for my Birthday. Nice calm decor and nice cool atmosphere. We had the Duck Won Tons, Chicken Bao Buns and Spicy Shoyu Ramen. Everyone was Delicious! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Bowling Green!

Was VERY pleased with this place! My husband and I were excited to finally try Simply Ramen in town, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. So when we found the ramen bar we were so excited to try it! Was quite shocked to learn that they're owned by the same people, because our experiences were night and day! The food here at the Ramen Bar was also better! Our server Will was amazing, we will definitely be going back! I only gave 4 stars though, because I did find a hair in my food, BUT it happens sometimes, everyone makes mistakes.

Ramen Bar is a hidden gem in Bowling Green. Of course it's really convenient that the place is usually open until 3 am. However, I really love everything I've ever ordered from here. The duck wontons are a savory cream cheese based filling served with a sweet and sour sauce. The beef udon is traditional Japanese comfort food and is super delicious.

The food was great and the atmosphere and staff was very nice. I went early morning after work. It was very nice to just sit a relax. I asked for recommendations and she was on point. I will be back for sure.

NOTE: This review was originally posted to Ramen Bar’s FB page on July 28, 2022. I am reposting it here since all reviews were removed from the page and I was blocked from their page.My partner and I went here this afternoon to try it out. I will admit, we had a previous subpar food experience at Simply Ramen last year, but we wanted to give Ramen Bar a fair shot. We were both excited to see that the bar is downstairs, so there was initial hope! The service here is great! However, we realized that the food wasn’t any better. We shared the Mi Sandwich as an appetizer and found it to be one-note in terms of flavor. It was also weird that there seemed to be pork belly AND ground pork on the sandwich(…?) when the menu only indicated pork belly. My partner had the spicy shoyu, which was not spicy in the slightest. The broth had a bitter aftertaste that was off-putting, yet neither of us could quite tell what was causing it. At least the noodles were cooked properly, which was not the case when we ate at Simply Ramen last year.I went with the beef udon. On the menu, it indicates that the udon comes with a “savory dashi broth,” but the broth was SWEET(!?) and not seasoned properly. The beef was also too tough. We wanted to come away from our meal with a different opinion, but unfortunately, this was the second time we’ve had bad ramen. I’ve had the privilege of eating good ramen while living in East Asia and can accept that finding ramen that is just as good is difficult in KY. It’s one thing to “Americanize” dishes to suit certain tastes, but it’s another to do that AND not even season the food properly. To the Ramen Bar/Simply Ramen chefs: I suggest revisiting recipes to ensure proper seasoning and balanced flavors. Also, dare to bring bold tastes to your menu—I promise you the BG community can handle it.

I love this place. The only one change I would make is there to be a delivery option so I can eat it more. The ramen is delicious and I haven’t tried something I didn’t like. The staff is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about their menu. Their hours are one of my favorite things because everything else closes so early. Ramen bar is a great addition to fountain square park.

Kid-friendliness: The staff is so kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Really makes for a great dining experience.

The service is wonderful, along with the vibe of the restaurant. There aren't many places like this in Bowling Green. Overall the food is tasty, sometimes inconsistent with how it tasted previously, but usually very enjoyable, and consistent enough for me to be a regular. Their items are unconventional and many are a twist on classics, although the Ramen itself seems to be a representation of authentic ramen. There is a great unique drink selection, and can make most speciality drinks non-alcoholic as well. They also have a vegetarian menu upon request!Something worth noting- the obvious entrance is the front side facing Fountain Square, but there is a handicap accessible entrance around back, if you park on E. Main Ave. It is a short distance.*quality of photos are not great*

Ramen Bar is one of those places you HAVE to experience! The dining area itself is beatifully designed, it felt as though I were transported to the vibes of a big city rather than a town in the middle of Kentucky! The food was incredible. I recommend the pork belly bao buns as a starter, and the noodles & broth in the ramen are packed with flavor. The servers & bar staff are incredibly nice and welcoming - we will be back and make this a regular going out spot!

Really enjoyed the ramen and the atmosphere. I’m excited to have a good ramen spot in town. The pork belly was super good and the spicy edamame was a nice variation on the norm. Will definitely be back!

AmazIng experience! Upscale grotto setting, friendly staff, and delicious food. The spicy teriyaki wings are some of the best wings I've ever ate! Small menu but everything we tried was excellent. We'll be back.

Vegetarian options: I think most dishes had meat or broth... may want to ask before you go

Kid-friendliness: Didn't see any kids, has a bar... not sure if they are allowed

Parking: We parked on street.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a basement... not sure if there is an elevator somewhere

Girl's Night on Thursdays is a MUST GO! Amazing DJ, great drink prices, cool atmosphere. Me and my friend had a great time dancing and the bartender Ashley was friendly and energetic!

Just a FYI to fellow vegetarians; there are no options (unless you want fries). A little shocking given that it’s a ramen place in a college town. Just go to Simply Ramen, they at least attempt to have options.
