Carry out order of 2 of the most expensive items on menu and potato’s where not cooked at all. Literally could not even bite into. This use to be one of the best places in BG to eat prior to new ownership. Now it’s one of the worst for money. Food prices keep going up and quality of food and service continues to decline. This unfortunately more the norm now at Shogun.

Great staff, even better food! Huge portion sizes.
Great food!
The food was delicious
Best hibachi around. Generous portions.
This place has a great atmosphere and the food is terrific! You will get enough to take home and have a second meal. Love this place!
Great Food
What happened with your prices? We went to do a repeat order only to find prices had jumped 20-25$ for the same order. Needless to say we did not order. Heck I can run to Sam's and buy fresh made sushi for half the amount. And there are other places cheaper too. Shogun will not get my orders at that price anymore
Be ready to TIP!!! They charge an excessive 18% on top of your already expensive price. I called them and they said, “ sorry about your luck, we charge that no matter what”. The only way you don’t get charged that is if you are a family of 4 or less. Honestly, the food wasn’t that great either. They try to make it seem like a lot of food by throwing in a lot of potatoes and spaghetti noodles. NOT A FAN!

My wife and I always get the bento boxes, they are a really good deal, like a 4 course meal. Miso soup and salad w/honey ginger dressing, then choice of app, choice of protein, choice of rice or sushi roll, followed by choice of cheesecake or creme Brulee. Always fresh and food came out quick, once we were able to order, waited for bartender to clock in for work evidently (about 10-15 minutes). I got potstickers, teriyaki chicken, and crazy boy sushi roll (my favorite) with creme brulee. My wife got spring rolls, teriyaki chicken and steamed rice with cheesecake.

We went on 9/9 for our daughter bday. She was looking forward to the "experience" hibachi dinner. The chef at the table did one interaction with her which was tossing a piece of egg in her mouth. The dinner was cooked in less than 10 minutes and he cleaned up and left. We couldn't help but hear all the laughter coming from the other tables where the chef interacted with their customers. Very disappointing and unfortunately probably won't return.

My son and I went to Shogun Bistro and we ordered seaweed salad and two Bento boxes. Mine had steak Teriyaki and egg roll and a sushi roll. The portions were excellent, and the food was really good. We had a pleasant experience from when we were greeted as we came in the door through our entire meal. I would definitely recommend Shogun Bistro to get together with friends or on a date. It's a great atmosphere.
