Questionable food quality. Brocoli beef had only 2 Brocoli. It would be funny if not so sad

A Take out place to eat. A very small outdoor eating area is available at the parking lot
Zawn was very helpful and friendly to place our orders.
Very limited choice of menu items. Every item was cooked freshly to meet our requests
Asian hot spice level was very hot and flavorful
Portion size was large Reasonably priced for $15 per entree on an average
Fried chicken is a must try. Noodles were good
Fried rice was little bit dry

Excellent taste and tremendous value. Will definitely go back soon.
My pad Thai was good. Not better than the well known Thai places in town but this is more convenient to me. My boyfriend asked for the stir fry broccoli and got normal stir fry. May have been a miscommunication in order on our part, I don’t know. The normal stir fry was just okay. The fried chicken was good, sauce was amazing. The menu lists 4pc but we only got two. The price leads to me believe they meant 2. We will be back to try other items on the menu. Portions on both the entrees made multiple meals.

An absolute gem. The food is fantastic, and I am sure it is named "Smiling Mama" because the Mama That cooks it is always smiling and very happy.
Let's keep this place in business.

Smiling Mama's had been recommended to me by two friends, so I was eager to try them out. I ordered the pad thai, but was sorely disappointed. It was virtually flavorless and bland. The Saffron Road frozen dinners are honestly better, as are the pad thai offered at Thai Express and Thai Thai. I ate about five bites before giving it up and throwing the food away. Maybe this was an exception, but I was quite unimpressed and likely won't be back. There are too many better options.

1st visit food was great
2nd visit - window was closed at 4:30pm. Nobody to take my order. Waited a few minutes then left empty handed. Not sure if I will be back.
UPDATE- 3rd visit There was someone to take my order but I would have to wait 10 minutes for the cook to get back.

Absolutely love the people who run the shop. They are lovely and hospitable and the food they serve is excellent. Some of the best noodles I have had since I have been to the United States. They also gave me fried tofu complimentary. I recommend the fried noodles...it is just perfectly made.

First time visit today & was blown away by how excellent it was! Cashier was super friendly & helpful explaining their spice levels. By the way, mild is perfect if you want full flavor with a little kick. My order of Pad Thai with Chicken was freshly prepared in 10 mins and I brought it home since it was raining. The smell it gave off in my car was amazing, so I knew it would be good. As soon as I got home, I opened the container and the steam coming off the food was still heavy, but I immediately dove in. In short, this was arguably the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, the flavors and textures were spot on. The portion size for the price was also incredible, weighing in a little over 2 lbs according to my kitchen scale. Overall, I’m ecstatic that Smiling Mama exists here in BG and would recommend you go there immediately if you’re craving great Thai food.
