It is rare I’m pleased with restaurants, so when I left Smiling Mama actually happy-I had to leave a 5 star review! I love that it is a small location with a simple menu. The service I received was excellent. I did not want meat on my dish and they were out of tofu which was disappointing, but they made up for it by adding a blend of veggies. Temperature, flavour, and spice levels were on point! Very generous serving size. I’ll be back.Vegetarian options: Any menu item can be prepared without meat. Tofu should be able to replace any meat. They were out of stock when I visited.

Tried something basic - chicken pad Thai - and it was wonderful! Mild is pretty spicy. Steaming hot, and a lot of food for the money. People were very friendly. Just takeout, but they do have a couple of outdoor tables.Vegetarian options: Several dishes have tofu as a protein option.
Got myself Nan Gyi Thote. The noddle is udon noddle type and mixed with chick peas powder, chili oil and seasoning. The portion is worth the price.

I have been here twice so far and this is, if not the best, one if the best Thai places in Bowling Green. Top 3 Asian restaurant in my opinion. The food is delicious. Service is great. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for my food. Looking to try new dishes, but the shrimp fried noodle is too good.10/10
