Griffin provided outstanding service. Had him before and is a great guy! Best martini in BG. Get rid of the dance club music! Put on soft rock or crooners or something else for Pete's sake. Entree was good but not great (Australian Waygu). Crabcake was awesome and exceptional as usual‼️ Gonna say yet again. Please use table scrapers!!
Lovely evening for our anniversary. Waitstaff was exceptionally professional and food was outstanding. The ambience was quiet and made the meal even more special.
We had an amazing experience at Tony's of Bowling Green. We went with our family for our anniversary. Jason was our waiter, and he provided excellent service. The food was amazing - don't shy away from the beef tartare or tuna tartare! The filet and sea bass were cooked to perfection, the truffle wedges were crispy and mac and cheese was so good like always. Save room for dessert!
The overall experience at Tony's was outstanding, from start to finish. The service was phenomenal, the food was absolutely incredible and every tiny detail was carefully thought out and perfectly executed. I have have never had a better dining experience anywhere in this area, and maybe ever. We left with happy bellies and hearts and with tons of delicious leftovers for us all to enjoy the next day. My family cannot wait to go back for our next experience at Tony's of Bowling Green.
The steaks were top notch and cooked perfectly. The creamed spinach was excellent and the old fashioned was make just right. It is the anchor of a nice, new hotel, so the decor is similar to that of a hotel, but it is still very nice inside. There is just not much character that you'd find in an older building. The service was very quick, but not pushy, and we were given specific descriptions and recommendations. We enjoyed it very much.
The hostess and our waiter were very kind and on top of things. We had a reservation and went to the bar while I waited for a table to be cleared. The hostess came back up to us to let us know it was ready which only took about 5-10 minutes. The waiter stayed on top of drinks and also recommended things in his opinion.
We got the crab cake which was good however since it was such a big lump it was cold in multiple spots. I got salmon which was overcooked and he got the lamb. He said it was not seasoned well. No flavor. We ordered sides to share, asparagus was not cooked thoroughly. The mushrooms however he did say that there's red pepper in them, they were good but a little heated for me. The macaroni was great. A lot of people have reviewed Tony's as a really good place. However we've been to hickory and oak and both agree that if you're going to spend the money, go to hickory and oak it's much better.

Food and atmosphere were great. Server was more interested in a table of friends than being a good server. Very disappointing in that we had heard so many good things about this restaurant. I’m sure they have better employees working some evenings.

Tony’s Steaks and Seafood in Bowling Green makes an immediate impression, though the online reservation system has quirks for solo diners. You’ll need to reserve for two and then clarify in person, otherwise your chances of booking are slim.
The welcome at the front desk is warm and effortless, and seating is quick. The hospitality feels distinctly Southern, with staff leaning into genuine friendliness.
There’s no printed mocktail list, but that turned out to be a perk. The bartender worked up a custom drink of honey, lemon, grapefruit, hibiscus syrup, and orange juice. It was balanced, bright, and a standout.
The space itself is stylish, with modern décor and a lively soundtrack. Chillhouse beats from Matthew Kramer set the tone, though the volume edged toward intrusive early on. Once the dining room filled, the music seemed more in step with the atmosphere.
Patrick, my server, handled the evening gracefully with support from Elli, who addressed me with a respectful “sir” every time. Zach, the general manager, made the rounds and stopped by to welcome me, a thoughtful touch.
The bread service is memorable, offering Italian sourdough with both whipped sweet bourbon butter and a salted variety. From there, the Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare arrived with a playful interpretation, soy, sesame, candied ginger, avocado purée, and a crisp cucumber carrot fennel salad. Not a traditional take, but well executed.
The New Zealand rack of lamb was the highlight. It came with roasted fingerling potatoes, a grilled romaine heart, and a rosemary mustard pan sauce. The kitchen scaled down the bourbon whipped sweet potatoes for me, but even the half portion was indulgent. The marshmallow topping gave it the decadence of sweet potato pie filling.
By dessert, I was already impressed, but the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream and chunks of chocolate was too tempting to resist. It landed with all the comfort and nostalgia you’d hope for.
Between the cuisine, the personality of the service, and the lively but polished atmosphere, Tony’s hits the mark. It’s the kind of place that leaves you smiling when you step out the door, and it deserves a spot on your dining list.

Outstanding location, atmosphere, live music, service on point and wow on the food. Bar and kitchen times were slow but we think this may have been due to a major highway accident that impacted everyone in town. Godspeed and thank you for a great experience Susie!

Made a reservation for 6:30 and wasn’t seated until almost 7. Not sure what the point of a reservation is. High school hostesses are pretty rude as well. Blonde one walked away from us and rolled her eyes as we were talking to her. If you hate your job maybe don’t work there. Servers are okay but the hostesses are horrible. Hickory and oak is sooooo much better honestly.
