Highway Gourmet is a hidden gem offering delicious food with a relaxed rural atmosphere. The food is prepared with care and is super efficient, perfect for a quick stop on a long drive. The menu features exceptional Scotty Dogs, hotdogs, and a classic home style smashburger. The A1 dog is delicious. The chili cheese fries, regular fries, burgers, yummy donuts, and tea are all amazing. The presentation is beautiful, like a piece of art, not just a hotdog thrown together.
The service is friendly, fast, and sweet. The place is well maintained, detailed, and clean. The view of the country with nice music provides a wonderful combo. It is kid approved, with children loving the burgers and hotdogs. The experience is a breath of fresh air and the best food on a trip. The prices are great. Visitors highly recommend a visit anytime you're hungry and will definitely be back.
