Made a pit stop while heading to Mammoth Caves and so glad we did! Their hash brown casserole was delicious and the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Their ice coffee was amazing as well. If you’re in the area, this is definitely worth the stop.
We had a great weekend of camping and on the way home saw this super cute breakfast spot-PJ's. The place is very clean looking and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, we ended up seating ourselves with no greeting. Then sat at our table for about 20 min with noone saying a word to us or recognizing we were there to enjoy breakfast. My wife and I just enjoyed a good lunch. The shrimp Po' Boy and cod plate was fantastic. The place looks great and the service is fast.

PJ's Café is a hidden gem serving delicious breakfast and lunch dishes in a clean environment, located right outside of Mammoth Cave National Park. Their breakfast bowl with sausage gravy, Brownsville, and grilled chicken spring salad are standout menu items. The hash brown casserole is also praised as the best ever had in a restaurant. Homemade fudge, including salted caramel, is a must-try. The staff are very friendly, providing top-notch service and making a great atmosphere for families with kids. The portions are great and the food is delicious, with reasonable prices. The pancakes are perfectly fluffy and the hash browns and bacon are perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The lady that runs the place is very sweet and friendly, making PJ's a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.
