Yamato Japanese Steakhouse

The food is fantastic but the service needs a little more oomph. I went in and ordered sushi as well as some habachi chicken. The sushi came AFTER the main course and the habachi chicken came without rice. I guess they got a little confused when I said 'extra veggies' so they took the rice off.. that might be more my fault for not specifying that the rice would stay on.

Bad experience, server had no idea, messed up several of our orders, never came back to check on us. Food was overcooked. The cashier was totally unresponsive to our complaints at checkout. We have had great experiences here in the past, not sure what happened this time.

Do not eat here! Horrible service, horrible food horrible staff no management. Ordered filet medium rare and shrimp. Got well done tires and no shrimp. Finally got the shrimp. Waitress never came to ask how things were so had to eat the tires. Asked for the manager and was told none there.

Don’t waist your time or money! 🤮🤢

Well i will not be coming back here, saw a server ( blonde hair in pony tail )
Take a table a sushi roll to a table then she took it back , then ahe used her bare hands to grab half the roll and put it on another plate. As i confronted her she said well sorry i washed my hands NO she didn't wash her hands. Girl needs to be fired. I will be contacting the owner and manager about this.

Booth seating is horribly uncomfortable. Waited nearly an hour for cold food. However, not the worst experience I've ever had, but I've had better experiences at McDonald's.

HOSPITAL VISIT! My family has always ordered takeout from this place up until this past summer. I ordered my usual chicken w rice and noodles plate and ate at home. My wife isn’t a big fan of Japanese food so she ordered from a Mexican restaurant. We ate at home that evening and by the middle of the night I was throwing up and had the most severe nausea I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Worst pain in the middle of my stomach too. I remember feeling delusional and just praying to God because I thought I was dying. My wife rushed me to the hospital where I was given nausea medication. Unfortunately my mom had also taken a few bites off my plate so she went thru the same symptoms I had just not as extreme. Fortunately my wife and son (1yr old) didn’t have any of that food that day. I don’t think a 1 year old would have been able to handle that type of sickness. Ever since I’ve had anxiety about ANYTHING I eat. One of the worst experiences of my life, I’ll remember it forever.

Cooked food was ok. I wouldn’t try any sushi because of how filthy the place was! Just hire a kid to go around with a bottle of fantastic and a roll of paper towel for a few hours 🤦🏻‍♂️. Played for appetizers would be nice.
