My boyfriend has been craving fried chicken for MONTHS now. We have eaten it from random places here and there, none of it really that good. I brought him some of Garretts fried chicken last night and the excitement on this man's face after his first bite; he said "That's the chicken I've been craving!!!" It was so good the best chicken he's ever had. Honestly though all of the food is amazing. This is our favorite restaurant.
Food is always good quality and huge portions for the price. Would definitely recommend. Never had anything I didn't like. But recently had the Cajun catfish with cheese grits and it was phenomenal. Need to keep that dish around!
What was memorable was the amount of bird droppings. The open rafters of the rafters allow birds to rest/nest and droppings are everywhere. We finally found a somewhat clean table and traded out chairs for ones without bird poo. We asked why they simply didn't put up...
