“No hate to the owners or the employees, this place is a staple for a reason. Let me start off by saying my family and I will definitely go back. I just had a few hiccups this visit. The crazy milkshakes are delicious, love the seasonal flavors, their regular pizza is delicious, and their other items are very good as well, but don't really reheat well. The biggest issue is with their claim to fame "8lb pizza!" We got a meat pizza and it's advertised as a Chicago style pizza. It's mostly just a very dry pizza dough pocket with a very large amount of luke warm, dry, meat inside. The crust is almost inedible around the edges, and some garlic butter or something similar would do wonders for that crust, anything to put some moisture in it. Again, the 8lb pizza is getting bashed pretty hard here but everything else was delicious... if you love the idea of just mounds of meat crumble and stacks of luke warm pepperoni then this is your bag. It's just wasn't for myself or my family.“

“I like the spaghetti and the thick crust pizza. Both are perfect to me. Both are more authentic tasting than the opposition in the area. The folks that work there are super friendly (both times I've been in). The sauce DID NOT taste like can sauce to me (another reviewer lied about that). I asked the owner about the bad review I read he said, "we've been here 40 years and we wouldn't still be here without using the freshest ingredients". “Beautifully decorated, cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely nice. The food was fresh and hot. The wait for our food was a little long but they were extremely busy. The wait was worth it though. Our food was amazing. Highly recommended.“
