“This place has the best catfish for counties around. Do yourself a favor and bring as many people as you can. Noone will be disappointed. Always hot and fresh. Fried squash is extremely good as well. Only Friday and Saturday for catfish. So plan accordingly. Good ol country folks serving good ol country food. Tell em Doug sent ya. Big Thanksgiving dinner coming Thanksgiving day. You can't get McDonald's food for these prices.”

“Order fried green tomatoes, cheeseburger and fries. It was all wonderful. The green tomatoes aren't always available because of seasonal availability but they are so good. Ranch tasted home made and if it's not than it's great quality. They gave me a free appetizers with some cinnamon honey butter that was amazing. My server was fast and friendly. Everything was great. I highly recommend”

“Had a great experience from good service to delicious cod fish sandwich and my partner getting the catfish, lightly breaded crispy and yummy. I know folks have had some issues from reading reviews however I really want this place to succeed! We are locals just moved from Louisville and need this great little place! I hope we can be patient as I know the owner has had difficulty in finding employees so I’m standing with her and giving her my support!”

“Very clean dining area. Open and spacious. Good service from the waitress. We ordered the patty melt and the hot brown. The hot brown was enormous. I took half of it home! It was very good. Has a smoky flavor. My husband had the patty melt. He liked it as well. He did say it was a bit over cooked.

“Only a couple things is why I didn't have a 5 star and those are 1) the noodles are just spaghetti noodles with the seasonings and flavor which would be ok if they hadn't broke them in such short pieces that you can not wrap them on your fork. 2) sometimes food is left on the bar too long and it is tough (specifically the breaded shrimp). Other than that it is really good food. We have always had good service.”
