Best kept secret around!
I continue to be happily impressed by the Riverside Deli. Or maybe I should give credit where the credit is due, and simply say thanks to Michael and Charlisa Woodward for their exemplary management strategies. They have taken this tiny space and utilized every nook and cranny without over-crowding. Personally, I appreciate buying deli meats and cheeses that aren’t cut until I’m standing at the counter ordering them. Riverside Deli LLC is a very clean and well-kept place with a remarkable view of the Ohio River. The employees are friendly, nice, and helpful, going above and beyond to take care of customers with great service. The food is wonderful, fresh, and great. They offer handmade deli sandwiches, like a pepperoni sub or a veggie sub, made to personal specifications with flavorful meats, beautiful and crisp veggies, and fresh deli meats and cheeses that are cut when ordered. The pea salad is perfection. Meals, such as a sandwich with a bag of Miss Vickie’s kettle chips, are under ten bucks. It is a nice, exemplary place to go, described as a modernized mom and pop shop. Customers can eat on the back deck to watch the river or take food home, perhaps with a dessert. Everything is done professionally and exceeds expectations.
