The staff made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in, and every little detail was handled with care. The food? Off the charts—another 10/10! I’m seriously still thinking about the country ham, egg, and cheese biscuit. It’s pure comfort and perfectly cooked, the kind of breakfast that could make you want to move to town just to eat it every morning. The atmosphere is small town Kentucky charm at its finest. Warm, cozy, clean, and even when it gets busy, everyone finds a smile. I only wish I could tip on a credit card, because the team absolutely deserves all the appreciation. And next time I’m getting the buffet! If you want a legit, unforgettable local spot, Bert’s will not disappoint. Highest recommendation—don’t drive through Cloverport without a stop here!”

“I was in Tell City for work this week and just a couple of doors down was a small bakery called Behind the Times. I am a coffeeaholic and a sucker for some tasty baked goods. I opened the door and as soon as I walked through the door I understood the name. It was like I had stepped back into time when things were more simple and neighbors ran into each other and just stood their and talked. There was no rush to get home or go shopping or to do anything really. Right there in that moment that conversation was what was important. Aside from the well aged decor and the sweet aroma that fills the air, i was greeted with a smile every time. The case that displayed all of the sweet goodness was so organized and inviting. They did have tables in case you wanted to sit and take a load off. I visited there every morning for the 3 mornings I was there. I was greeted by a different person each time but they were all so kind and helpful. I decided on Thursday afternoon that I wanted to share the delicious goodies with my family so I went over 1hr before they closed and placed a large order to be picked up on Friday morning before I headed back home. The baker...I believe her name is B...correct me if I am wrong, teased me about giving her such a tall order for such a small amount of time. I knew she was joking and had gone out of her way to make my order special. I don't know how many more times I will have the occasion to visit Tell City but when I do...I hope I have time to visit that bakery and sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and just soak up all of the nostalgia and kindness that fills the room. If you're ever in Tell City... you must visit Behind the Times Bakery!”

“Went for breakfast with friends. Great hashbrowns!! Warm, friendly service, and a cozy, Southern Indiana style atmosphere. The pancakes are gi-NORM-ous! This is a great spot to eat and relax. Definitely coming back when I'm in town.”

Do not change anything about your pizza or wings - they were the best we have had in this area, and we could not have been more pleased - 10 out of 10! Pizza was hardy/fresh... GREAT! Wings were jumbo, cooked to perfection! 2. Make the advertisement for the food/pizza/wings portion of the business much larger outside the building. We do not Vape/smoke. We have driven by since it opened almost every other day, and due to a lack of interest in the large advertising for Vaping, we did not pay any further attention; thus, we have been missing out on the GEM!”

“I recommend Sweet Perfections by Crystal for your special event! The Cake & Cupcakes were beautiful! Crystal not only prepared the Sweets for Our Daughters Wedding but she delivered and set up and even added special touches to make the day even more special! Everything tasted wonderful too!”
