The Freezer Cafe is an outstanding representation of everything you would expect from a small town Indiana Diner. Good food, service, family atmosphere and price. Additionally, the Freezer continues to offer counter service which serves as a major draw for me.
The freezer Cafe is a historical landmark for me. It has been in bussiness since the 50s and is a small little diner. The food is good,cheap,and usually quick. The service is great and the atmosphere is homey. My dad took me there as a kid, I took my boys, and I continue eating there a few times a week. We use to sit in the back and listen to the jukebox as kids. That is gone now but the memories remain

As an out of towner just passing through on the way home, it's always fun to pop in a local place when you don't know where you're at. The Freezer Cafe was this spot for me - from the moment I walked in I knew it would be a charming experience and it was!
