“This place caught me by surprise! Right along the Ohio River, the view is beautiful at sunset. Binoculars are provided to use if you wish to get a closer look at the river and Kentucky. You can drink, eat, and get lost watching as barge after barge passes on down the water. Our salads were delicious and fresh and our beers cold and crisp. My boyfriend absolutely loved his burger (he added the little ketchup smiley face in the picture (: ) and I enjoyed my chicken strips which were just your average chicken strips. Highly recommend a stop at this place!”

“pizza was great service was great. I like the way they cut the pizza, I like the thinner crust style but the only knock I found was the crust taste it needs something but it's not a deal breaker.”

“Went for ice cream for five people. Got funnel cake with ice cream to just some on a waffle cone and all of us loved our flavors. They were extremely busy but still was good service.”

“One of the best salad bars around! Also has a variety of hot food on the bar daily. Menu with multiple options like burgers, chicken sandwiches and steaks. This is a restaurant that has been open for over 50 years and I've never had anything I didn't like. My go to is the Chicken Maui. The dining room is nicely decorated with a cool fan feature on the ceiling. Service is friendly and attentive.”

“Went to The Post and did a take out order. Only 10-15 minutes wait for a Chef salad and 6 traditional wings. Food was very good. I got the wings with honey bourbon sauce, sweat with a little heat, very good. The chef salad is large enough for two.”

“Super cool dudes working today for my first time in. And it was phenomenal! Got a custom surprise espresso drink and half order of biscuits and gravy. Can we say yummy?! “Great place for breakfast or lunch. Prices are unexpectedly reasonable for the amount of servings and quality. This place is always packed and has a huge variety of menu options. Breakfast is our favorite meal. The scatter brown hashbrown are out of this world!”

“If you travel through Hawesville ,Kentucky. This is a must stop!The smell of fresh baked goods greets you as you walk thru the door. The atmosphere is quirky and fun with a delightful color scheme. I had a delicious mocha cappuccino and French toast done just right. Husband had the sunny special and cleaned his plate before I was even half finished.Coffee, smoothies, fresh and Great choices whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner.Lovely Cafe and can't wait to eat here again.”

“We love this bar. It is our go to place in Tell City. Great atmosphere, great service, great people. The food is good but the menu is limited. The blackened salmon salad is outstanding. The have bands regularly at the weekend and in the summer they have a great outdoor space for bands.”

“My husband and I enjoyed a motorcycle ride over to Tell City, Indiana together and we decided to stop for lunch. We decided to go to Tokyo Express and we’re glad we did! Food and service was excellent! ?? We had so much food for a lunch deal that we were able to have dinner later at home. We enjoyed chicken hibachi, chicken lo mein, and cream cheese wontons. Forgot to take pics of the food due to enjoying it so much! ?”

“We drove down from Webster to visit Cloverport. What a treat! Bert’s is a great breakfast or lunch spot. I had the Bert’s Burger on Texas toast with Swiss and grilled onions. This was some of the best beef I’ve had. Definitely worth the drive.”

“Had my son’s birthday party yesterday and it was awesome EXCEPT for the arcade room. Not many games anymore and you basically just waste your money on the claw games trying to get stuff. Wish they’d bring back pool and air hockey.”

“I did take out and ordered the shrimp nachos. This is a wonderful nacho dish, lots of cheese, pico de gallo, and lettuce with whole grilled shrimp covering their tortillas. I like that the cheese soaks into the tortillas so they are soft. They even gave me chips and salsa for a take out order, I didn't even ask for it and there was no charge, supper sweat. Fast and friendly service.”

“Everything was very nice except the waitress didn't submit our to go order early enough, and we ended up having to wait an additional 30 minutes after we were done eating in. When I'm done with my food I want to leave!”

“As an out of towner just passing through on the way home, it's always fun to pop in a local place when you don't know where you're at. The Freezer Cafe was this spot for me - from the moment I walked in I knew it would be a charming experience and it was! Sat at the counter and the staff was exceedingly friendly - didn't wait long at all to get ordered, didn't wait long to get served... all on a busy Sunday morning, too! The food was excellent, very reasonably priced, and the staff was very attentive to needs for refills and quality of the meal. Looking for an excuse to go through Tell City again just so we can stop here another time.”

“‼️(Only gave it 5 stars so people could see this post.)‼️ If you are a female please be careful in this bar. I visited from Indianapolis and one of my friends got roofied. Then we got a call later on that someone else got roofied later that night after we had left. If I didn’t call 911, my friend could have ended up dead. The doctors and nurses said my friends alcohol level was fine. But she was definitely drugged. They questioned if it was the bartender from that night but I don’t believe it was. But someone in there is drugging people. So be safe people.”

“My family just moved here and since our new house was not quite as ready as promised (stove not installed/water not yet on/mover's 2 days late) we decided to grab some take-out pizza here after being recommended by 2 locals. We got the 12" Pepperoni, a side order of Cheesy Breadsticks and a 16" Supreme. OMG! It was awesome!! Nothing but compliments from my Italian husband who is very picky about American pizza---lol. We were all pleasantly surprised how loaded the Supreme was! I literally had to cut mine with a knife. The service was very friendly and warm. The atmosphere very laid-back and quaint. We will def be back for a sit down dinner soon! Tysm”

“This is a great bar. A fun atmosphere with karaoke on Friday night and Saturday night. 3 pool tables to shoot on. Everyone was very friendly and the drinks were good. They have frozen pudding shots and the one I had was mint and it was amazing! I am looking forward to going back again and again. Great place really! It is definitely a must try! Cheers!”
