“We went in after a long day, and I got the ribeye. It was so good, it just melted in my mouth. I felt bad because we walked in at 8:15 on Friday, and I saw online that they serve until 9:30. They actually stop serving at 8:30. But the staff was super nice to us last-minute folks.”

“I was in Tell City for work this week and just a couple of doors down was a small bakery called Behind the Times. I am a coffeeaholic and a sucker for some tasty baked goods. I opened the door and as soon as I walked through the door I understood the name. It was like I had stepped back into time when things were more simple and neighbors ran into each other and just stood their and talked. There was no rush to get home or go shopping or to do anything really. Right there in that moment that conversation was what was important. Aside from the well aged decor and the sweet aroma that fills the air, i was greeted with a smile every time. The case that displayed all of the sweet goodness was so organized and inviting. They did have tables in case you wanted to sit and take a load off. I visited there every morning for the 3 mornings I was there. I was greeted by a different person each time but they were all so kind and helpful. I decided on Thursday afternoon that I wanted to share the delicious goodies with my family so I went over 1hr before they closed and placed a large order to be picked up on Friday morning before I headed back home. The baker...I believe her name is B...correct me if I am wrong, teased me about giving her such a tall order for such a small amount of time. I knew she was joking and had gone out of her way to make my order special. I don't know how many more times I will have the occasion to visit Tell City but when I do...I hope I have time to visit that bakery and sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and just soak up all of the nostalgia and kindness that fills the room. If you're ever in Tell City... you must visit Behind the Times Bakery!”

“Went for breakfast with friends. Great hashbrowns!! Warm, friendly service, and a cozy, Southern Indiana style atmosphere. The pancakes are gi-NORM-ous! This is a great spot to eat and relax. Definitely coming back when I'm in town.”

“This is the only resturant that I will eat at for oriental food. The food is incredible. It is flavorful and visually appealing. The inside of the resturant is nice as well. It is small but it works for them.”

“My husband got the chocolate cool mint milkshake; he said the flavor wasn’t very overpowering but was very good and delicious. He would get it again. I got the birthday cake ice cream; it was good but light in flavor so much so that I almost couldn’t tell it was birthday cake flavored. I would get ice cream here again but would probably venture out and try a different flavor.”

“They have the best chili.. And now they're soups on my top list , cheesy potato soup and chicken noodle , really good and yummy... But there chili is my absolute favorite in the whole town of Tell City Indiana.. Add some extra cheese and chopped onion on top.It's perfect....”

“I never do this... that said, a few suggestions: 1. Do not change anything about your pizza or wings - they were the best we have had in this area, and we could not have been more pleased - 10 out of 10! Pizza was hardy/fresh... GREAT! Wings were jumbo, cooked to perfection! 2. Make the advertisement for the food/pizza/wings portion of the business much larger outside the building. We do not Vape/smoke. We have driven by since it opened almost every other day, and due to a lack of interest in the large advertising for Vaping, we did not pay any further attention; thus, we have been missing out on the GEM!”

“Lewisport is a short drive, and in my humble opinion, the food is heads above either of the places in Tell City. I can highly recommend Los Nopales, if you want the best Mexican around!!”

“OMG I saw the hot dog flag in the sky and I had to head over. I love hotdogs but especially chicago style. I had a traditional with street peppers mustard and relish and it made my night. Will Def be following to see where you will be next.”

“This food is pricey but I think that’s to be expected inside an amusement park + gluten free is always more expensive. I’m giving 5 stars based on them providing several fun GF options. Pizza was a little soft in the middle — perhaps we’ll ask them to cook it longer next time. We all loved the chicken bites. In almost 10 years of living GF, this is the only GF funnel cake I’ve encountered!”
