Crystal didn’t just serve us food — she ran a full-on Top Gun mission. Absolute legend. She moved through that restaurant like Tom cruse in the cockpit of a fighter jet, locking in drink refills, dropping off food with precision, and making jokes the whole time. She didn’t think… she just did. She was moving at mock 10.2, on point, and somehow everywhere at once. If there was a call sign for servers, hers would be Maverick 2.0.

I always forget the local LongHorn exists, which is wild because compared to nearby options, it stands in a league of its own here in the Cold Spring/Alexandria area. I rely on reviews when choosing where to eat, but since moving here I’ve learned that local taste preferences and expectations don’t always align with mine. After a few disappointing “highly rated” local spots, LongHorn was a refreshing change but mostly because all the Darden brands has a pretty consistent track record in my dining experience...The menu has great variety, especially sides and appetizers, and surprisingly strong entrée salad options more than most local restaurants. On December 20th around 9:30pm I ordered the 7-Pepper Sirloin Salad curbside, and everything from ordering to pickup was smooth and professional. The steak was cooked exactly as requested, portions were generous, and the quality matched the price.. The blue cheese crumbles and sirloin is one of my favorite pairings that go well together when done correctly as Longhorn did...The bold tangy taste of blue cheese with the natural salt and flavor of sirloin perfectly complimented one another...
I read the reviews before ordering and after reading the menu made me realize there was a disconnect.... I was just expecting pricing to align with the reviews constant complaint about price...
But the prices are normal for what you're ordering? I'm not sure where everyone else buys their steaks but adding in sides, preparation, and cleanup the prices are proportional to the cut of meat on the menu.. I only point this out because it's difficult to make an informed decisions when reviews unfairly measure an establishment over economic disdain with meat costs.
Overall, my experience at the Cold Spring, KY LongHorn from service, preparation, ordering and overall quality and value far exceeded my experiences with other establishments especially when it concerns the dinner entree salads.....The young lady (dark hair, early 20s possibly asian) was so friendly when she brought out my order....She was smiling as soon as she opened the exterior doors, and the experience was the same level of friendly professional service as guests expect when they dine in so receiving that level of service curbside is quite rare...

Overall a pretty disappointing visit today. Service was insanely slow. When server finally showed up, we ordered an apple juice for our son, a blue moon, a wine and two waters. Apple juice was served hot with no ice. Blue moon was served with no oranges. After waiting 40 min for our food, our son’s steak (ordered medium well) came out dry and way over done. It also was insanely thin and looked like the cheapest cut of steak…definitely not what I would consider longhorn quality. My steak was not cooked correctly, but had good flavor so I kept it. My wife’s steak, however, was beyond unacceptable. The steak (a filet) was ordered medium and came out between raw and rare. It looked like it had never touched the grill. Manager took my wife’s steak back and brought back one that was bland with very little flavor and had a color to it that suggested they microwaved it. She couldn’t finish it. Our son’s steak was replaced with one to go, and so he ended up not eating. I told the manager that the server really missed the mark and wasn’t great and she admitted that they changed her station which likely messed her up. The manager had us pay only for our drinks due to how bad it all was. After the manager left, the server went to the host stand and was clearly talking about us to the hosts. The host and her pointed at us multiple times as though we had committed a crime. Server dropped the check off with no pen. She never came back, and so I had to go to the host stand to ask for a pen. Honestly one of the worst experiences we have ever had at this location. It used to be good, but this one definitely ruined the location for us.

Longhorn’s entire menu is amazing. We patronize the Beavercreek OH location almost weekly. When we go out of town we try to find one wherever we go! We love their food and service!

Our experience was just incredible. My family came here for a pre birthday dinner for myself. Our waiter Dylan was fantastic - very down to earth, kind and funny. He was running every which way but he also maintained a great attitude. I believe he just may be the best server I’ve had at a restaurant! Our food/drinks were so tasty. My husbands food was running a bit behind ours due some malfunction in the kitchen with the stoves/ovens, so the manager Devin came over and let us know that my husbands meal would be comped AND we would get a free dessert. We truly were not expecting anything like that. I overheard Devin at another table complimenting his entire staff by saying he has the best in the world. It truly shows. Even if we did not get anything for free, it was still a great experience that deserved a great review. Thank you to both Dylan and Devin for going over and beyond for your customers!

We got the chicken bites app, 12 oz ribeye, and the crusted parm chicken. All the food was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend the chicken bites. They have a delicious spicy yet sweet taste and they were probably the most tender cuts of chicken I've ever had. Ribeye tasted good, I order medium but it was pretty rare with some dark red blood colored juice running out. Parm chicken tasted good, pretty salty. The server was friendly but a bit slow to come by. I will definitely be back.
